Outside
Good sized patios front and rear give all day sun. Poolside patio is walled and gated overlooking communal pool and gardens, with eight sunbeds and dining table/6 chairs/parasol and barbecue if required. Front patio is walled and gated with small table/2 chairs. First floor balcony has table and 4 chairs/parasol and overlooks pool and gardens. Communal garden has large pool with good sunbathing areas and poolroom toilets, secluded inside quiet private complex.
Coast/Beach
The property is a few minutes from the coastal path with stunning cliff top views and walks. The main town beach is 5 minutes walk away in a safely enclosed huge horseshoe bay with sunbed and pedalo hire, and within 10 minutes walk are several newly constructed beaches in safe lagoons with beach bar restaurant on peninsular island.
Golf
Caleta has Fuerteventura's two prime golf course, one hosting national Open championships with golf shops etc. These are both just a 5 minute drive or taxi ride away.
Special interest holidays
Fuerteventura is famed for wind surfing and kite surfing activities, with tuition schools and hire. Caleta has a dive school.
Travel
Airport transfer is approx 10 minutes and costs just 10 euros, and although car hire will provide easy access to the entire island it is not required to enjoy the resort to the full.
Further details
Caleta has a good shopping and entertainment complex at the Atlantico Centre with multi screen cinema and bowling. This is a short drive / taxi ride or 20 minute walk, or free bus service from local hotels. The town has many shops/banks and there are many many restaurants and bars to suit all tastes, whether family oriented or quiet.
Booking notes
Accommodation can be held for a few days to allow you to arrange flights, then a deposit of £200 will be required to secure your booking followed by balance payment and a refundable security deposit of £200 payable two months before your stay. All booking contacts are with the owners.

We live in the UK and have rented out holiday homes there for many years. We really enjoy owning, furnishing and maintaining a property in a great destination for us and others to enjoy - so Amuley Mar 2 in Caleta, Fuerteventura was a great next step and has been a fantastic experience and we love going there ourselves over and over again.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
We first visited Fuerteventura several years ago and realised it was a great destination if you love sunshine and warmth but appreciate a bit of a breeze to go with it sometimes. Caleta is so well placed for the airport, close enough for a taxi ride but very little disturbance from aircraft. The town is compact enough to enjoy on foot and right in the middle to enjoy the whole island if you hire a car. It's a real family town with beaches, bars, restaurants and shops - and entertainment at night for grown ups.
We were delighted when we had the opportunity to buy our property and have no doubt you'll love it too.
Unique benefits of the property
Benefits of our property - this is easy. Amuley Mar 2 must be the best laid out and positioned complex in the town, and this property is currently the very only one of the larger style being rented out for holidays. It is nearly twice the size of all the other rentals, including garden space, and genuinely sleeps 8 with space to spare. We are best positioned on the site for all round sunshine and have lovely views over the pool and gardens, and views out to sea.
