House is a 5 minute walk from bus stop and taxi rank and supermarket. Beyond the supermarket is a series of restaurants and bars. Also available car and bike hire.

Changeover day
Total flexibility re day of arrival and departure. Arrival times 1pm, Departure by 11am. However, these will not be enforced unless another party is arriving same day.

Notes on accommodation
Both levels have rear doors and windows with mosquito screens, allowing the windows and doors to be open to allow cooling breezes without mosquitoes.
Safety deposit box available (100 euro deposit for key applies, returned on departure).

Accessibility
There are 5 steps to the front door. After this a disabled person could have access to lounge, bathroom, bedroom and sun terrace as these are all on one level.
Outside
Sun terrace includes patio furniture and nice view of mountains. Large communal pool surrounded by sun loungers is on complex. Smaller baby paddling pool is next to this.
Coast/Beach
Distance to coast 10 minutes walk. The nearest beach however is a further 15 minutes walk (or 5 minutes in a a car).
Golf
2 golf courses close by (10 minutes in taxi) Fuerteventura Golf Resort 18 hole championship course (hosted the Spanish Open in 2004). Next to this is the newer Salinas de Antigua 18 hole course which opened in 2006.
Travel
Fuerteventura's only airport is 10 minutes drive from the house. Car hire is available, but not essential as there are sufficient restaurants, bars, etc in Costa de Antigua and the larger nearby resort is accessible by walking (20 minutes), bus or taxi (3 euros cost). Car hire is necessary to fully explore the island.
Distances
Main shopping centre - Atlantico Centre. Free bus is available from Elba Hotel in resort (10 minutes drive to centre). Caleta de Fuste, a neighbouring resort is a 20 minutes walk/5 minute taxi or bus ride. Corralejo, the oldest tourist resort in the north of the island, 40 minutes drive.
Further details
Local shops include 2 supermarkets, a bakery and a car and bike hire business. Cash machines available. One Irish Bar, one Irish American bar and one English Bar. All show all major UK sports and every Premiership football match. Restaurants are varied from cheap 'pub grub' to quality gourmet style.
Booking notes
Cost £200 sterling per week (for 2 people). Extra £20 per extra person. Same cost every week of the year. Deposit £50 required, balance due 1 week prior to arrival. Book via telephone or email.
Bond of 150 euros required on arrival. This will be returned on departure subject to no damages.
