Casa Estrella is a brand new air conditioned 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom villa located on a quiet cul-de-sac street in the Costa Papagayo area with superb mountain views. Tastefully furnished and very comfortable, this villa is well equipped and offers all the comforts of home and more. The location makes this villa a winner as it is only a 15 minute walk to beaches and centre of Playa Blanca. Features of the villa include total privacy, large garden, and terrace areas surrounded by high walls which makes it a very safe location. Heated swimming pool (8m x 4m), alarm security system, air-conditioning, lounge and master bedroom leading out to pool terrace area, covered outdoor dining area with BBQ and seating area, American style kitchen with all modern appliances, DVD and Satellite TV with limited English channels (bring your own Sky card for extra channels). Notes on prices
Prices are for the villa per week in UK pounds. £50 reduction for couples only (2 people). Heated pool and air-conditioning included in booking fees. Winter Sun book 4 weeks get one week free, book 8 weeks get 2 weeks free! Monarch have good prices on Mondays from Manchester.
Changeover day
Our preferred changeover day is Thursday, but will try to be flexible when needed. Aer Lingus from 30 Sep have twice weekly flights from Belfast Intl. from £54 incl. taxes! Monarch have good prices on Mondays from Manchester.

Accessibility
All indoor accommodation is on ground level and suitable for wheelchair access with one small step over into the walk in shower in the main bathroom.
Outside
Particular feature of Casa Estrella is its private garden and pool area surrounded by high walls. Comfortable sun loungers, tables, and chairs are all part of the outdoor living space. For those who enjoy a bit of shade there are large covered pergolas on the terraced area at the back of the villa.
Coast/Beach
Playa Blanca is the southern most town on the island and benefits from the maximum sun available. The villa is located on a quiet development and is only a 15 minute walk to the protected nearest beach Playa Dorada and the centre of Playa Blanca with its shops, bars and restaurants. In Playa Blanca there is a beautiful seafront promenade which leads you to the new international Marina Rubicon (East) or the lighthouse (west).
Golf
The nearest golf course currently is in Costa Teguise, which is a 35 minute drive from Playa Blanca. A new golf course has just opened in Tias, 20 minute drive.
If you are a golfer we can arrange tee times, hire of clubs etc.
Travel
The airport at Arrecife is a 30-40 mins car drive away. If you don't want to hire a car a private car transfer for 40 euros will take you directly to the villa. Local taxi service to centre of Playa Blanca approx. 2.50 euros. If you wish to visit places of interest on the island we would recommend car hire. Playa Blanca as a resort however offers all you will need for a relaxing holiday if you wish to stay locally.
Distances
The nearest supermarket (Sun Tropical) is a 2 minute walk. Restaurants are approximately a 15 min walk from the villa. Playa Dorada the nearest beach is approx a 15 minute walk or a 3 minute drive.
Further details
'Thanks to local architect Caesar Manrique there is very little high rise development. My favourite place is Playa Blanca in the south. A family resort, but is still stylish enough for the grown-ups. Family holidays are never easy but trust me this place helps with some of the pain'. Craig Doyle Irish Times 1/3/08.
The villa villa will be decorated during the Christmas period to give that festive feeling.
Booking notes
A £100 per week deposit (ie £200 for a 2 week stay) is required at the time of booking, the balance to be paid 8 weeks prior to arrival. Please note that this villa has a NO SMOKING policy, however there are large external patio/terrace areas for this purpose.
