Casa Royal is one of three new 3 bedroom 2 bathroom villa located on a cul-de-sac street tastefully furnished and very comfortable. Others are Casa Tranquila (c1472) and Casa Estrella (c1474) When it comes to location Casa Royal has the edge on others as it is situated in the Costa Papagayo area and is only a 15 minute walk to beaches and centre of Playa Blanca. This villa is well equipped and offers all the comforts of home and more. Features of the villa include total privacy-large garden, pool and terrace areas surrounded by high walls which make it very safe. Heated swimming pool (8x4m) and outdoor jacuzzi, alarm security system, full air conditioning, lounge and master bedroom leading out the jacuzzi and pool terrace area. Outdoor dining area with BBQ and seating, American style kitchen with all modern appliances, DVD, English and German Satellite TV with limited English channels (bring your own Sky card for extra channels) makes this villa perfect for a fun filled family holiday.

Notes on prices
Prices are for the villa per week, £50 reduction for couples only (2 people). Heated pool, jacuzzi, air conditioning and heating all included in booking fees.
Changeover day
Our preferred changeover day is Thursday, however we will try to be as flexible as possible for other days. Aer Lingus have twice weekly flights from Belfast Intl. from 30 Sep for £54 incl taxes!!

Villa is supplied with all bedlinen and towels including beach towels. On a two week booking, towels, bed linen and cleaning will be done mid-holiday, so plan a few hours away to let the cleaning staff have time to work. |
Notes on accommodation
Heated pool, outdoor jacuzzi, air-conditioning and heating all included in the rental fees. High chair and child cot available for £10 per week. For those traveling with extended families there are villas on either side of Casa Royal (Casa Tranquila and Casa Estrella) which are also posted on the Owners Direct website.
Accessibility
All accommodation is on ground level and suitable for wheelchair access, with a 2’ step at the front door and back terrace. There is also a 2’ step at the entrance of the walk-in shower in the main bathroom.
Outside
A particular feature of Casa Royal is its private garden and pool area surrounded by high walls. Comfortable sun loungers, tables and chairs are part of the outdoor living space. For those who enjoy a bit of shade there are large covered pergolas on the terraced area at the back of the villa.
Coast/Beach
Playa Blanca is the southern most town on the island and benefits from the maximum sun available. The villa is located on a quiet development and is only a 15 minute walk to the nearest protected beach Playa Dorada and the centre of Playa Blanca with its shops, bars and restaurants. In Playa Blanca there is a beautiful seafront promenade which leads you to the new international Marina Rubicon (East) or the lighthouse (west).
Golf
The golf courses are in Costa Teguise, which is a 35 min drive from Playa Blanca. The new golf course Lanzarote Golf is now open in Tias a 20 min drive. If you are a golfer we can arrange tee times, hire of clubs etc.
Travel
The airport at Arrecife is a 30-40 mins car drive away. If you don't want to hire a car a private car transfer for 40 Euros will take you directly to the villa. Local taxi service to centre of Playa Blanca approx. 2.50 Euros. If you wish to visit places of interest on the island we would recommend car hire. Playa Blanca as a resort however offers all you will need for a relaxing holiday if you wish to stay locally.
Distances
The nearest supermarket (Sun Tropical) 2 min walk. Restaurants are approx a 15 min walk from the villa. Playa Dorada, the nearest beach is approx a 15 min walk or a 3 min drive.
Further details
Thanks to local architect Caesar Manrique there is very little high rise development. My favourite place is Playa Blanca. A family resort, but is still stylish enough for the grown-ups. Family holidays are never easy but trust me; this place helps with some of the pain. Craig Doyle, Irish Times 1/3/08.
Booking notes
Please note that this villa has a no smoking policy, however there are large external patio/terrace areas for this purpose.
The villa will be decorated at Christmas with a tree and more to give that festive feeling.
