Casa Tranquila is a brand new 3 bedroom 2 bathroom villa located on a quiet cul-de-sac street with mountain views, tastefully furnished and very comfortable. This villa is well equipped and offers all the comforts of home and more. The location of this villa makes it a winner as it is situated in the Costa Papagayo area and is only a 15 minute walk to Playa Dorada Beach beside the Princess Yaiza Hotel and centre of Playa Blanca. Features of the villa include total privacy, large garden, pool and terrace areas surrounded by high walls which make it both safe and quiet, heated swimming pool (8m x 4m), alarm security system, full air-conditioning, lounge and master bedroom leading out to pool terrace area, covered outdoor dining area with BBQ and seating area, American style kitchen with all modern appliances, DVD and Satellite TV with limited English channels (bring your own Sky card for extra channels).

Changeover day
Our preferred changeover day is Thursday, but will try to be flexible when required.

Bedrooms: Bedroom 1 with double bed.

Bathrooms: En-suite bathroom to bedroom 1 with bath, wc, bidet.
Bathroom with walk-in shower, wc.
Kitchen: Modern kitchen fitted with a range of equipment including cooker, hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge/freezer.
Utility Room: Automatic washing machine, ironing board and iron.
Living Rooms: Living room/dining room is an open plan area and has access to the swimming pool and terrace area. It offers all the comforts of home, two 3-seater sofas, Satellite TV/DVD and lots of reading material.
Other: An indoor table and chairs, seating for 6, is located at the far end of the lounge area. More photos can be viewed on request.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
Villa is supplied with all bedlinen and towels including beach towels. Towels and cleaning once weekly and a bedlinen change mid holiday on a 2 week booking.

Notes on accommodation
Heated pool, air-conditioning, and heating all included in the price listed. With an enclosed back garden this property is well suited for children. A high chair and child cot is available £10 per week each.

Accessibility
All indoor accommodation is on ground level and suitable for wheelchair access with one small step over into the walk in shower in the main bathroom.

Outside
A particular feature of Casa Tranquila is its private garden and pool area surrounded by high walls. Comfortable sun loungers, tables, and chairs are all part of the outdoor living space. For those who enjoy a bit of shade there are large covered pergolas on the terraced area at the back of the villa.

Coast/Beach
Playa Blanca is the southern most town on the island and benefits from the maximum sun available. The villa is located on a quiet development and is only a 15 minute walk to the nearest beach - Playa Dorada and the centre of Playa Blanca with its shops, bars and restaurants. In Playa Blanca there is a beautiful seafront promenade which leads you to the new international Marina Rubicon (East) or the lighthouse (west).

Golf
The nearest golf course currently is in Costa Teguise, which is a 35 minute drive from Playa Blanca. A new golf course has just opened in Tias, 20 minute drive.
If you are a golfer we can arrange tee times, hire of clubs etc.

Travel
The airport at Arrecife is a 30-40 mins car drive away. If you don't want to hire a car a private car transfer for 40 euros will take you directly to the villa. Local taxi service to centre of Playa Blanca approx 2.50 euros. If you wish to visit places of interest on the island we would recommend car hire. Playa Blanca as a resort however offers all you will need for a relaxing holiday if you wish to stay locally.

Distances
The nearest supermarket (Sun Tropical) is a 2 minute walk. Restaurants are approximately a 15 min walk from the villa. Playa Dorada a protected sandy beach is approx a 15 minute walk or a 3 minute drive.

"Thanks to local architect Caesar Manrique there is very little high rise development. My favourite place is Playa Blanca. A family resort, but is still stylish enough for the grown-ups. Family holidays are never easy but trust me; this place helps with some of the pain" Craig Doyle, Irish Times 1/3/08.
The villa will be decorated during the Christmas period to give that festive feeling.

Booking notes
A £100 per week deposit (ie £200 for a 2 week stay) is required at the time of booking - the balance to be paid 8 weeks prior to arrival. Please note that this villa has a no smoking policy, however there are large external patio/terrace areas for this purpose. Stop press! Twice weekly flights from Belfast Intl. from £54 one way including taxes from 30 September with Aer Lingus. Monarch have good prices from Manchester on Mondays.
