When you fancy a change, stroll down to the beach where you will find a good selection of shops, bars and sea front restaurants. Notes on accommodation
Villa Marina is situated in a safe and relaxing environment. There are fantastic views over the sea and town of Playa Blanca and you are close to the beach and town centre. Take a dip in the heated pool or enjoy a glass of something chilled in the Jacuzzi.
Villa Marina has plenty of space both inside and outside for all the family so it's easy to find a quiet spot for a snooze! There are two bedrooms upstairs and 2 downstairs so this villa would be ideal for:
1) families with babies or teenagers (sofabed for 2 children)
2) families with grandparents or
3) up to 4 couples looking for a relaxing holiday.

Accessibility
Unsuitable for wheelchairs because of internal staircase and steps between terraces outside.
Outside
Private gardens with stunning sea views over Fuerteventura and Los Lobos. South facing terraces on 3 levels for alfresco dining area with table, 8 chairs and parasol. Barbecue with built in seating area. Steps lead down to heated pool with sun loungers and hammocks. Inflatable toys and beach towels are provided. There is also a luxury hot tub plus a swing seat with canopy. Games area with pool table and 4 cues, darts etc. A travel cot/playpen is provided so that you can relax whilst baby sleeps/plays close by. Secure parking for 2 cars and telephone entry system.
Coast/Beach
The beach and promenade with bars, shops and restaurants is just a 10 minute stroll away so there is no need for a car. There are 3 beaches in Playa Blanca. Playa Flamingo is the closest - there are sunbeds for hire and the beach shelves gently into the sea, making the bay very safe for small children. Playa Dorada is the biggest beach with rows of sunbeds and water sports. Rubicon Marina is well worth a visit to see the yachts and designer shops and to feed the fish.
Golf
The nearest golf course is just a 30 minute drive away in Costa Teguise.
Travel
Arrecife (ACE) airport is a 30 minute drive from Playa Blanca. The taxi rank is right outside the arrivals hall. Your journey to Playa Blanca will cost around 40 euros. There is a taxi rank close to Villa Marina and journeys around the resort cost from 3 to 6 euros. If you prefer, you can collect a hire car from the airport - pre-booking is advisable. It is worth hiring a car for a couple of days to look around the island of Lanzarote as the locals are welcoming and the scenery is amazing.
Distances
The beaches of Papagayo are considered to be some of the finest in Spain and are just a short car journey from Playa Blanca. Yaiza was voted the prettiest village in Spain in 1998 and is Haria is known as the town of 1000 palms, there are panoramic views from the roadside above the town.

Booking notes
A deposit is required at the time of booking and the balance is payable 8 weeks before departure. Villa Marina is available from 3pm on arrival and we ask that you are ready to vacate by 10am on departure day. You are welcome to leave your packed cases in the villa if you have a late flight home. Please do not smoke inside the villa.
