It is only a 15 min stroll from the high street of the main centre of Corralejo, and a short walk to a sandy beach. The villa is within easy walking distance of supermarkets, town bars and restaurants. There are no less than 2 bowling alleys, the popular outdoor market, golf driving range, the 150,000 sqm water park grounds and a host of other activities just at the end of the avenue. Casa Mango is a fully equipped detached property, offering you the perfect facilities for a private, self-contained holiday. It offers you a unique 20’ long, 1.6m deep heated swimming pool with wide sunken steps and to the side is a private al fresco dining and BBQ area. You also have a large roof terrace with views to Lanzarote and Lobos Islands.

Living Rooms: Spacious living room with dining area, large wall mounted satellite TV, which includes Sky Sports and Sky Movies, DVD player and music centre, 3 seater sofa and 2 easy chairs overlooking pool and direct access to outside living areas via two French doors.
Other: Dining area separate from kitchen. Bedroom 1 is separated from 2 and 3 by living area (see floor plan on owner website).
Cleaning/towels/

We include all bedlinen and towels for up to 6 people. The villa is cleaned weekly. Please pack your own beach towels.

 

Notes on accommodation
Inside the villa is very spacious. The furnishings and fittings are of the highest quality. You have solid mahogany tables, dressers, leather easy chairs and sofa. In the kitchen space, as well as a complete range of utensils, you have fully integrated appliances including a dishwasher, washing machine, large fridge freezer, full oven and hob, microwave, coffee machine, toaster and kettle. The 3 king size bedrooms are generous in size, each with deeply fitted built in wardrobes across one wall. Two bedrooms share their own wing of the villa and each has its own door to a spacious bathroom. The other wing, separated by the living and dining areas, has the larger still master bedroom with an equally impressive en-suite bathroom. For entertainment there is a large wall mounted satellite TV, a DVD player, complete with a library of films and CD/ MP3 sound system. The whole layout is very child friendly and the only means of access to the courtyard pool is via secure living area doors.

Accessibility
Casa Mango is all on one floor. There is a small step at the front door and porch entrance, but no threshold plates to enter the main living area. There is a further single step in the rear courtyard to the swimming pool but again no threshold plates to the rear French doors.

Outside
The outside is designed in a beautiful courtyard style accessed through two large French doors from the central living area into a large covered terrace for sitting and dining out. This is a 500 sq m screened garden planted with mature palm trees and tropical flowering shrubs, which benefits from the sun all day. Private tiled areas around the 6m x 3m swimming pool make a perfect place to enjoy a family BBQ or play ball games. If you prefer some added peace and quiet you can step up to the large roof terrace and look out at stunning views across the ocean to Lanzarote and the neighbouring Dunes Natural Park. There are plenty of quality sun loungers to position around the pool or locate under a palm tree.

Coast/Beach
Fuerteventura has 152 world class beaches for you to choose from. The best of these include: Grandes Playas and Dunes (20 min walk from Casa Mango). Sotovento Beach (in the south of the island). El Cotillo (15 mins drive from Casa Mango).

Golf
The 2004 Spanish Open was held at the course at Caleta de Fuste (near the island's airport) and another course has recently opened next door. Two more courses are ready for completion shortly.

Travel
Fuerteventura has one international airport which is amongst the nicest airports you could wish to spend time in. There are large aquariums fitted in some of the walls and everything is spotless. Taxis are 40 euros for the 30 min journey to Casa Mango. We can recommend an excellent fully licensed local company for larger party transfers at competitive prices.

Distances
Casa Mango is 15 mins walk from the main street of Corralejo i.e. convenient, yet far enough away to enjoy some peace and quiet. The island's only water and park is only a 5 mins walk from the villa. Bars, restaurants and stores are all again within easy walking distance. The big beaches and famous dunes are a flat 20 min stroll to the East. A hire car is not essential, but it is a good idea if other parts of this fascinating island are to be explored.

Booking notes
Summary of booking conditions: A reservation will be provisionally held for 48 hours in time to book a suitable flight. A 50% deposit is payable to secure accommodation following that time. Balance is payable 4 weeks prior to departure. As a courtesy to other guests please refrain from smoking inside the villa. Please check our website for full booking conditions.

The location is great too because you're near enough but far enough to be out of the hustle and bustle of town.
