Only 10 minutes drive from the Airport, Parque Don Jose complex is in the centre of Costa Del Silencio, and close to all the shops and many restaurants in this lovely town. Both our apartments have been recently refurbished to a very high standard to offer quality accommodation. 2 bed apt has balcony and a roof terrace with excellent views including Mount Teide. Our 1 bed apt has a lovely tiled balcony to relax on. The large pool is the talking point of this complex, with a smaller heated pool for children and Lifeguards in attendance, you can relax on the free sunbeds and enjoy the sun. There is a children's play area close to the pool and shaded area's to sit within the established gardens. This is a gated complex so is very secure for you and your family, security guards patrol at night.

Notes on prices
Prices are for the apartments per week in UK Pounds. Prices are based on 2 people sharing a 1 bed apartment and 4 people sharing a 2 bed apartment. Additional guests will be charged £20 per person per week. Long winter lets at discounted prices are available, please call for a price.

Changeover day
We have no set changeover day. We try to be flexible and make the first and last days of your stay as easy as possible. However, when we have guests arriving on your departure day we will have to specify a time to vacate the apartment.

Accommodation

 

 

Notes on accommodation
Towels, tea towels and bed linen are supplied and included. Extra maid service and towels can be arranged, please ask.

Accessibility
The complex is adapted for wheelchair users, our 1 bed unit is accessed via a short uphill ramp then a level walkway. From the pool area ramps lead up to the walkways. Our 2 bed unit is via a flight of stairs from the walkway, access to the roof terrace from our balcony is via a spiral staircase.

Outside
There is a large shared swimming pool and a smaller heated pool for children, with Lifeguard. A childrens play area is close to the pool within shaded gardens, a perfect place to sit and read. Both our balconies have patio tables and chairs, with seat pads and parasols. The roof terrace on the 2 bed apartment also has patio table and chairs and sun loungers. The terrace is lit so you can admire the night time view.

Coast/Beach
The sea is only 5 mins walk away, the nearest beach is at Las Galletas which is 10 mins walk from our apartments.

Golf
There are 5 golf courses in the surrounding area, more if you want to travel to the North of the Island. The closest two clubs, Golf De Sur (27 hole) and Amarilla Golf (18 hole) are only 15 minutes drive away. Courses near Las Americas and Adeje, which are about 20 minutes drive away, have in recent years hosted PGA championships, putting golf in Tenerife firmly on the professionals map. There are also driving ranges and a 9 hole short game practice club only 5 minutes from our apartments. If you book a golfing break with us I will supply you with a full description of all the courses on the Island and details of how to book tee times, etc.

Travel
The nearest airport is Tenerife South, Reina Sofia, this is 10 minutes drive from the complex. There are plenty taxis at the airport or a car can be hired. However, a car is not essential to enjoy Silencio and Las Galletas. They are close enough to walk to and offer many facilities. There is a bus service which is regular and reliable if you want to go further afield, it is 3 minutes walk from the apartment to the bus stops and you can get all around the Island from there.

Distances
The nearest town is Las Galletas, it is a lovely Spanish town with a marina and seafood restaurants, plenty of shops and is only 10 minutes walk away. The bigger resorts, Los Cristianos and Las Americas are 15 minutes away by taxi or 30 by regular bus service. After this there are plenty of unspoilt villages dotted around this coastline which can be accessed by bus or taxi. There is a hire car office 2 minutes from Reception that I use and can reccommend.

Further details
Shops: There is a wide range of shops in Silencio, Las Galletas and many more including designer shops in Los Cristianos and Las Americas. Chemist: There are chemists or Farmacia's in Silencio and Galletas, they have a green cross above the door. Spanish pharmacists are highly qualified and will diagnose and dispense prescriptions to you, so if your children are unwell it may be quicker than getting a Doctor.

Supermarkets: Not far from Reception there is a small shop called Leo's, get your water, milk and order your breakfast rolls etc. here so you don't have far to carry them. Leo is very helpful, if there is something you really want but can't find in the Supermarkets ask, he will try his best. For more shopping the closest supermarket is Netto, 5 mins walk away, you will get all you need from here but is a little more pricey. The best option is Hermusa, 10 mins walk away, close to Westhaven Bay. This is bigger and stocks a wider range at a more competitive price. Maps and directions can be found in our information pack inside the apartments. Restaurants: There is a wide range of good quality restaurants covering all tastes in the area. All restaurants cater for children. Banks: There are also several money changing offices in town and at the far end of the main street is a bank. You can go in or just use the ATM machine outside. In our Apartments we have information on places of interest close and further afield, as well as plenty of options to fill your leisure time.

Booking notes
Call for more information or to book your holiday with us. A deposit of £100 per week is required on booking and the balance is due 6 weeks before you go.
