Balcón del Sol is built against the hillside in the old fishing quarter of Puerto de Mogan and is reached via a series of steps and slopes. It is very near Mogan´s lovely sandy beach and all the amenities of the marina harbour with its excellent selection of restaurant, bars and shops. Puerto de Mogan is a low-rise, tasteful resort in the south west of the island and is perfect for a peaceful holiday and all year-round sunshine as the climate here is arguably the best in Europe. Balcón del Sol is tastefully maintained and ideally located.

Changeover day
Changeover day flexible. Apartments are cleaned weekly and linen and towels changed on the same day. Arrival times not before 13.30 and departure time no later than 10.30.

Small sitting room with kitchen and dividing American bar. Kitchen has 4-ring electric hob, small fridge, toaster and kettle. Separate bedroom with double bed. Shower room with handbasin and toilet. The accommodation is bright and compact with a sun-terrace, 2 sun-loungers, sun umbrella, table and chairs - there are wonderful sea views.

Double bed sitting room with double bed, sofa etc. Separate kitchenette with small fridge, 4-ring electric hob, toaster and kettle and small dining area. Bathroom with half bath/shower, basin and toilet. Sun-terrace with 2 sun-loungers, table and chairs, sun umbrella and beautiful views of the sea.

Kitchen has 4-ring electric hob, fridge, kettle and toaster. There is a utility area for hanging clothes, and a balcony with table and 2 chairs to enjoy the sea views and surrounds.

Similar to Apartment 4 with sitting room, kitchen and American bar, separate twin-bedded bedroom, bathroom with shower, basin, bidet and toilet. Kitchen has 4-ring electric hob, fridge, toaster and kettle. There is a utility area for airing clothes and cleaning utensils, and balcony with table and chairs and lovely sea views.

Notes on accommodation
Due to its slightly elevated position Balcón del Sol apartments are not suitable for people with walking difficulties as there is no lift and access is via 39 steps.
Please note that each apartment is for a maximum of 2 persons.
Coast/Beach
The delightful Puerto de Mogan beach is approximately 100 metres from the apartments. The beach is sandy with sun loungers for hire and several beachside cafés and restaurants. The marina harbour with its yachts and overlooking restaurants is within a few minutes walking distance.
Golf
The nearest golf courses are Salobre Golf and Maspalomas golf course - a 15 minute drive and 30 minute drive respectively.
Travel
Las Palmas airport is approximately 50 kilometres away and an hour's drive. Car hire is not essential but owners will organise either a car hire with a reputable and economical company or a limousine transfer if required.
Distances
Mogan town is 9 kilometres inland. Puerto Rico is a 15-20 minute drive or it can also be reached by ferry. Arguineguin is a nearby fishing town with market and a 25 minute drive away. The capital, Las Palmas, is about one and a half hour drive.
Further details
Puerto de Mogan has many shops, restaurants and the Spar supermarket. The popular open-air market is on Fridays. There are several banks with cash points. The main leisure activities are swimming, fishing and sailing, including boat trips to see the dolphins. For jazz lovers there are special weeks during the year when jazz is played nightly at the harbour front. Exact dates available on request.
