Balcón is built against the hillside in the charming old quarter of Puerto de Mogan and is reached via either 50 easy steps or a continuous slope. It is very near Mogan´s lovely sandy beach and all the amenities of the marina harbour with its excellent selection of restaurant, bars and shops. Puerto de Mogan is a low-rise, tasteful resort in the south west of the island and is perfect for a peaceful holiday and all year-round sunshine as the climate here is arguably the best in Europe. Balcón is meticulously maintained by the owners and ideally located.

Changeover day flexible. Apartments are cleaned weekly and linen and towels changed on the same day. Arrival times not before 13.00 and departure time no later than 10.30.

Shower room with handbasin and toilet. The accommodation is bright and compact with a sun-terrace, 2 sun-loungers, sun umbrella, table and chairs - there are wonderful sea views.

Notes on accommodation
Please note that each apartment is for a maximum of 2 persons. Our apartments are bright, charming and spotlessly clean.

Accessibility
Due to its slightly elevated position Balcón apartments are not suitable for people with walking difficulties as there is no lift and access is either via 50 steps broken up by intermittent gentle slopes to the right or one continuous slope to the left.

Coast/Beach
The delightful Puerto de Mogan beach is approximately 100 metres from the apartments. The beach is sandy with sun loungers for hire and a number of beachside cafés and restaurants. The marina harbour with its yachts and overlooking restaurants is within a few minutes walking distance.

Golf
The nearest golf courses are Salobre Golf and Maspalomas golf course - a 15 minute drive and 30 minute drive respectively.

Travel
Las Palmas airport is approximately 50 kilometres away and just under an hour's drive. Car hire is not essential but owners will organise either a car hire with a reputable company or competitively-priced private airport transfers with one of their team of licensed drivers if required.

Distances
Mogan town is 9 kilometres inland. Puerto Rico is a 15-20 minute drive or it can also be reached by ferry. Arguineguin is a nearby fishing town with good market every Tuesday and a 25 minute drive away. The capital, Las Palmas, is about one and a half hour drive.

Further details
Puerto de Mogan has many shops, restaurants and the Spar supermarket. The popular open-air market is on Fridays. There are several banks with cash points. The main leisure activities are swimming, fishing and sailing, including boat trips to see the dolphins. For jazz lovers there are special weeks during the year when jazz is played nightly at the harbour front. Exact dates available on request. A small note on our amazing weather. Puerto Mogan, ideally positioned in a sheltered valley, is blessed with one of the finest year-round climates in Europe. In the winter months, the days are wonderfully sunny with temperatures in the high seventies and early eighties. Yet in the summer, far from being too hot for comfort, whilst the sun is higher in the sky and the temperatures are of course higher, the heat is dry, not humid and you are cooled by the lovely light sea breezes. Our long summer evenings are pleasantly warm and perfect for lazy relaxation on a terrace or balcony over a jug of cold sangria or a bottle or two of white wine.
