The island’s only 18 hole golf course, situated in Costa Teguise, is only a 15 minute drive away. The property comes with a selection of mountain bikes and a ping-pong table for your use at no extra charge. Notes on accommodation
This accommodation is family friendly, but if you have young children we also have a neighbouring villa on the same complex which may be more suitable it has a gated terrace between its front entracnce and pool area, it also have stair gated fitting on the internal stair case.

Outside
The access to the heated pool is via the front patio which leads onto the communal pool area. The ground floor terrace has a BBQ, 2 sun loungers and table and chairs for alfresco dining. There is a balcony with sea views from the master bedroom and on the lower ground level an at side patio for drying your laundry.
Coast/Beach
The complex is 50m from the sea and close by are fantastic beaches that are child friendly. The neighbouring village of Arrieta boasts one of the best family beaches on the island which has a tapas beach bar and restaurant, toilets and shower facilities. This is a stunning location to enjoy the unusual black sands and the scenic mountain landscape of rural Lanzarote.
Golf
The island´s only 18 hole golf course, situated in Costa Teguise is only a 15 min drive away.
Travel
The nearest airport is Arrecife about 20km away and the nearest ferry port 20km, a hire car is recommended for guests staying at this accommodation.
Distances
Punta Mujeres is a great base from which to explore the island, with the Jameos del Agua, Cactus Garden, Mirador del Rio, Green Caves and the Valley of a Thousand Palms being only 10 mins drive away where there is a Saturday morning local craft market. Another place of interest is the historic village of Teguise, where you can take a stroll through the meandering lanes and watch local artists at work or visit the Sunday market, all this is only a 15 mins drive.

Punta Mujeres has the beauty of being a Canarian fishing village along with all amenities needed, ie. Restaurants, supermarkets, bakers, sea front tapas bars etc. If you go a little further afield you can soon discover the island of Lanzarote has many activities to offer cycling, diving, fishing, golf, horse riding, mountain biking, paragliding, sailing, surfing, swimming, tennis, walking, water skiing, wind-surfing, hand gliding, pot-holing, quad trekking and all water sports.
