Coast/Beach
5 mins walk to beach. Costa Calma has beautiful, long sandy beaches. (as pictured above) Ideal for any beach activity.
Travel
Costa Calma is about 80km from the airport. Transfers can be arranged to and from the airport. Taxis are readily available at the airport. Car hire is readily available and quite reasonably priced - details can be provided.
Distances
Costa Calma has numerous facilities eg banks, shops, pubs etc. Morro Jable is larger and more 'developed' it is only 15 minutes drive away.
Further details
Some points of interest for anyone taking a break in Costa Calma; The Oasis Animal Park in La Lajita is a 780,000 m2 zoo park incorporating botanical gargens. You can see animal shows (including sea lions and parrots) and also take camel rides. The park is 15 minutes drive from Costa Calma.
For those intersted in fine dining, El Camello restaurant in El Pared offers an exceptional dining experience. La Pared is 10 minutes drive away. You will be shocked by how little the meal costs. Also in La Pared is the restaurant Bahia Mar, a wonderful fish restaurant with a large swimming pool and waterslide.
