Each bedroom has access to one of the apartment’s 2 balconies. The first, the poolside balcony is a large sun terrace overlooking the pool area and having ample space for either sunbathing or dining. It is fitted with a retractable awning for when shade becomes appealing. The second balcony looks towards the sea and allows visitors to catch the evening sun. It also has stunning views of Tenerife’s crowning glory, Mount Teide. The well-maintained complex benefits from two heated swimming pools, one for young children, which are surrounded by a spacious sun terrace. The complex also has a pool bar and restaurant.

There will be additional charges per week for more than 4 persons.
There will be no increase in rental prices for 2012.
Changeover day
The apartment is generally rented from Friday to Friday, this being the main day for flights from the UK. However, mid week reservations may be considered due to availability.

| Bathrooms: | Each bedroom has a shower room containing shower cubicle, wash hand basin with vanity unit together with a toilet. The larger bathroom also contains a fully automatic washing machine, airer, iron and ironing board are also provided. |
| Kitchen: | Fully fitted with Halogen hob and oven, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment, toaster and kettle. It also has a breakfast bar with four stools. |
| Living Rooms: | The living room contains matching 3 seater and 2 seater sofas, a coffee table, satellite TV (UK TV plus some Sky channels), DVD player and a Radio/CD player. It has access to the poolside balcony via double-glazed patio doors. |

The apartment will be thoroughly cleaned prior to arrival and linen, bath, hand and kitchen towels are changed weekly. Beach/Sunbed towels are not provided. |

Notes on accommodation
The apartment is administered by Victoria Services who have an office on the complex. They undertake the cleaning and laundry service and will assist with any unforeseen problems that may arise. They can provide cots and high chairs upon request together with extra beds at an extra charge. Beds are provided for four persons but up to five people can be accommodated.
Accessibility
The apartment is unsuitable for wheelchair users as it is located on the second floor with no lift access.
Outside
The main pool terrace overlooks the pool and the mountains beyond. It contains a retractable awning, a table and 4 chairs together with two sun loungers. The rear balcony also has 3 chairs with views to the sea and mountains. The complex has 2 heated swimming pools(winter), one for children, together with a large sunbathing patio where loungers and parasols can be rented on a daily basis for a small fee. The bar/restaurant on site has satellite TV and there is internet access at a small charge. The bar will provide takeaway food.
Coast/Beach
The apartment is 5 mins from the sea with two splendid beaches, the Harbour Beach and Playa Las Vistas only a short walk away through the picturesque town of Los Cristianos. The harbour and beaches offer boats trips and a variety of water sports and there are numerous bars and restaurants within a short walking distance.
Golf
The nearest golf course is a ten minute drive away although there are many courses within easy driving/taxi distance.
Travel
The airport is a 20 min taxi drive away which costs in the region of 25 euros. Car hire is available from several outlets in the area, one of which is in the Revron Hotel adjacent to Victoria Court.
Distances
The apartment is situated in Los Cristianos which is connected by a beautiful promenade to the more boisterous resort of Las Americas which is approx a 30 min walk or 10 min taxi drive away.
Further details
Los Cristianos has a large variety of bars, cafes and restaurants to suit all tastes. There a numerous high quality Supermarkets, including a newly opened Spar, close to the apartment. Banks and ATM machines are within a 2 minute walk. There is free return transport to the Waterpark in Las Amaricas each day.
Booking notes
Along with other owners at Victoria Court we are now charging Seasonal Rates, based on 4 persons sharing. These rates vary from £295p per week in Low Season to £380p in High Season. Prices increase if more than 4 persons use the apartment as this is reflected in the increased cleaning/ laundry charges that we incur. A non-refundable deposit of £75p per week is required to secure the booking, the balance being paid 10 weeks prior to arrival date.

About the owner
My husband and I can be described as two active mature grandparents whose time is taken up looking after Grandchildren, watching live sport and puffing around the Gym a few times a week. Both of us enjoyed full time careers we are now enjoying the benefits of retirement. We also enjoy walking and I spend one day a week at the local primary school assisting 7 year olds with their reading skills.

Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
We first visited the island of Tenerife in 1984 and instantly fell in love with it. Victoria Court 1 was completed in 1985 and since then we have spent many family holidays at the complex. When the opportunity arose to purchase an apartment there, it seemed the natural thing to do.
Unique benefits of the property
Victoria Court 1 is only a small complex compared to what has since been built in the area. It is only three storeys and this helps to maintain its cosy family atmosphere. Also it is the first private complex from the sea. There are ample Bars and Restaurants in the immediate vicinity for those who do not want to go into town, whilst being far enough away from the bars to keep its own tranquil flavour.
