Fronting straight onto the sea, the Altamira is a beautifully maintained aparthotel complex for those looking for extremely good accommodation in a quiet area, yet within an easy 20 minute (sea front) walk of Playa de las Americas. In the other direction is the fishing village of La Caleta with several fabulous fish restaurants - a 15 minute walk away. The complex has 2 very attractive pools - one heated. The apartment is on the fourth floor and is just one flight of stairs below reception. Table tennis and pool are available.

Bedrooms: There is a separate sleeping area within this studio apartment containing comfortable twin beds with ceiling fan over.
Bathrooms: Superbly refurbished bathroom with bath/shower over, washbasin, hair drier and wc. An automatic washing machine is located here too.
Kitchen: Kitchen has been recently re-furbished with twin ceramic hob, fridge with ice compartment and a microwave oven.
Living Rooms: Good sized living area with CD player and satellite TV (BBC1, BBC2, ITV1 and Channels 4 and 5), dining and occasional tables and attractive cane furniture - clean and in good condition. A large wall display unit adds to the storage within the apartment.

Outside
A table and chairs and drying rack are available on the balcony. The balcony offers fantastic pool and sunset views towards the island of La Gomera. The area is quiet and has no traffic noise or 'through roads' in the vicinity.

Coast/Beach
The apartment is right on the sea front and is 50 metres away from the fabulous golden sand of Playa Del Duque beach - the best beach in South Tenerife.

Travel
The complex is a 10 minute drive from Tenerife Rena Sofia Airport (approx 30 Euro by taxi).

Further details
The hotel has a 24 hour reception and includes a refurbished communal lounge area with well stocked library.

Two well stocked supermarket are 30 metres away as are several bar/restaurants. The complex has its own snack bar and restaurant. There is an ATM cash machine close by.

Free wireless internet is available at the poolside - please ask for details. Pay as you go internet PCs are available in reception too.
