Casa Verde is a modern 2 bedroom 2 bathroom villa located on a quiet cul-de-sac street tastefully furnished and very comfortable. This villa is well equipped and offers all the comforts of home and more. It is situated in the Costa Papagayo area and is only a 15 minute walk to beaches and centre of Playa Blanca. Features of the villa include total privacy-large garden, pool and terrace areas surrounded by high walls which make it both safe and quiet, heated swimming pool (8m x 4m) and outdoor jacuzzi, alarm security system, full air conditioning, lounge and master bedroom leading out to pool terrace area, covered outdoor dining area with gas BBQ, fireplace and seating area, American style kitchen with all modern appliances and Satellite TV with limited English channels (includes Channel 4, S4C, Film 24, Sky News & CNN).

Prices are for the property per week in pounds sterling and include pool heating, use of hot tub and air conditioning.
Changeover day
Our preferred changeover day is Thursday, however we will try to be as flexible as possible for other days.

Notes on accommodation
The pool has an electric heating system to keep the water at 28 deg. celcius (85 deg. F). The cost of pool heating is included in the rental price of the villa.

Accessibility
All accommodation is on ground level and suitable for the elderly or infirm. There is one step down from the patio onto the pool and garden areas. Doors inside the villa are of standard width and are therefore not suitable for motorised wheelchairs.
Outside
A particular feature of Casa Verde is its private garden and pool area surrounded by high walls. Comfortable sun loungers, tables and chairs are part of the outdoor living space. For those who enjoy a bit of shade there are large covered pergolas on the terraced area at the back of the villa.
Coast/Beach
Playa Blanca is the southern most town on the island and benefits from the maximum sun available. The villa is located on a quiet development and is only a 15 minute walk to the nearest beach - Playa Dorada and the centre of Playa Blanca with its shops, bars and restaurants. In Playa Blanca there is a beautiful seafront promenade which leads you to the new international Marina Rubicon (East) or the lighthouse (west).
Golf
The nearest golf course currently is in Costa Teguise, which is a 35 minute drive from Playa Blanca. A new golf course is scheduled to open in Tias in summer 2008, 20 minute drive.
Travel
The airport at Arrecife is a 30-40 mins car drive away. If you don't want to hire a car, a taxi will take you to Playa Blanca for approx. 40 Euros. Local taxi service to centre of Playa Blanca approx. 2.50 Euros. If you wish to visit places of interest on the island we would recommend car hire. Playa Blanca as a resort however offers all you will need for a relaxing holiday if you wish to stay locally.
Distances
The nearest supermarket (Sun Tropical) 2 min. walk and restaurants are approximately a 15 min walk from the villa. Playa Dorada the nearest beach is approx. a 15 minute walk or a 3 minute drive.
Further details
Please note that this villa has a NO SMOKING POLICY, however there are large external patio/terrace areas for this purpose.
Booking notes
A £100 per week deposit (ie £200 for a 2 week stay) is required at the time of booking - with the balance to be paid 8 weeks prior to arrival.
