The villa was built some 30 years ago by the developer for his own use. It enjoys the best position on this private development being surrounded by trees and walls and enjoying spectacular panoramic views of Playa Blanca, the sea and Fuerteventura. All the accommodation is extremely spacious and designed on split levels with a huge drawing room, separate lounge and separate dining room. Outside there is a large patio area with BBQ and pergola capable of seating 16. A separate children's area with table and benches, a further large patio area and separate secluded sun terrace with astro turf fittings and second pergola. The pool is 12m x 6m with solar and electronic heating and motorised safety cover. The pool itself is a maximum of 1.5m deep, has a Roman end with Jacuzzi, and the water is part salt to cut down on chlorine for those who suffer from asthma and allergies. Its temperature is maintained at between 25 & 30 degrees centigrade winter and summer.

Prices are based on 4 sharing with additional people charged at £85 per person per week.
Changeover day
Thursday is the main change over day as most flights to the island occur then. However all other days can be arranged. We would ask guests to vacate by 10am please.

| Utility Room: | Separate utility room with washing machine. |
| Living Rooms: | Main reception room is 10m x 6m with separate seating area, office area fitted internet connection. Lounge contains TV with full Sky connections including sport and movies. DVD player, full stereo. Separate dining room, sufficient inventory for 12 people. |
| Other: | Outside the kitchen is a full drying area with all facilities. Villa has full electronic central heating and the cottage has electric fan heaters, though we have never used these since we have owned the house. |

Notes on accommodation
The master bedroom has its own private door opening out onto the sun terrace with spectacular views to Fuerteventura.
Accessibility
Location of villa is on the Red Mountain in part of a small development of 18 houses, very secluded, private and safe. The design and layout of the house makes it unsuitable for wheelchair users.
Outside
Outside there are many other secluded areas all with fantastic views. 12m x 6m pool is located between the villa and the cottage and has sun loungers and in the pool house you will find various lilos and equipment for the pool itself. Pool cover is automatic and is operated by means of a key switch located at the entrance of the cottage. This is hydraulic and once covered provides a safe cover for the whole pool.
Coast/Beach
There are 5 large beautiful white sand beaches at Papaguya, part of a national park. It is a 15 minute drive, or there is a regular ferry from the old harbour. 3 further beaches are located within the main village area between 10 to 15 mins walk.
Golf
There is a golf corse at Teguise, a 30 minute drive.
Travel
The airport is a 25 min drive about 35 euros by taxi, and there are regular ferry services from Playa Blanca to Fuerteventura. All the Canary iIlands are served by ferry from Arrecife. A Ford Ka is included with the villa for all licensed drivers over 25.
Distances
There are numerous places of interest including Timanfaya national park with active volcanic activity, the island of Graciosa where you can camp in complete isolation, wine growing region and the old town of teguise. La Santa offers many water sports and some very good surfing. There are 2 marinas, one in Playa Blanca wher boat hire is available.
Further details
The main centre of Playa Blanca has many good shops and excellent restaurants offering all types of cuisine from local Spanish through to a very good Argentinian steak house. A lot of the restaurants are located along the very pretty promenade which goes all the way round the bay at Playa Blanca to the Rubicon marina which has more restaurants and designer shops. The old harbour has ferries which run twice hourly to Fuerteventura and there are various boat trips including a ferry boat service to the beaches at Papaguya.
