Changeover day
Flexible - we ask you to vacate the villa by 10.00am, to enable us to clean the property. The villa can be occupied from 4.00pm. If you do arrive before the villa has been cleaned you will be able to leave your laggage on site.

Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service: |
Cleaning and bedlinen changes are carried out on a weekly basis on a Thursday. If you stay for two weeks the villa is cleaned after one week. Towel change is twice a week, Mondays and Thursdays. All you need to provide are beach towels. |
Notes on accommodation
Villa Floralba, is an odeal villa for couples and families. The property is in a cul de sac on a very large plot of land, NOT OVERLOOKED BY ANY OTHER PROPERTY. We offer you and your family the opportunity to plant one or two cactus in a determinated area of 2m2. in our 10000m2 plot of land. After your departure we will look after then until your next visit.
Satelite TV in lounge and children's lounge, DVD players in lounge and children's lounge, with a selection of DVDs. Playstation in children's lounge with a couple of games (bring your own too), books, games. Air-conditioned in master bedroom, lounge and dining area only. Outside
Entrace to the house, through a rustic stone couryard. Solar panels heating swimming pool in summer and electric heating in winter time if required. Outside terrace, has a garden table and chairs (10) under a pergola of 80 sqm, large BBQ area with BBQ and gas ring for cooking outside, table tennis, sunloungers and cushions provided, running machine and exercise bike, darts.
Coast/Beach
Puerto del Carmen is a 10 minute car journey away. It is situated on the south coast and is the most popular resort area on the island. The resort has many restaurants, bars and shops. The long sandy beaches stretch many miles along
the coastline, water sports including jet skis, sailing, scuba diving, fishing, boat hire and parascending are all available in Puerto del Carmen or nearby. Papagayo beaches are situated close to Playa Blanca, around 30 mins drive but well worth a visit.
Golf
Nearest golf course is in Costa de Teguise, around 15 minutes drive away. A new golf course is being built not far away from our villa.

Car hire is essential.

There are many companies offering water sports and if necessary, instruction in snorkelling and scuba-diving, or you can go riding courtesy of the Rancho Texas riding stables (recently converted to a theme park) in Puerto del Carmen itself or Lanzarote á Caballo at Yaiza. You can admire the underwater world from a submarine or a glass-bottomed boat or try your hand at deep-sea fishing. There are also numerous excursions to attractions further afield. The beach avenue.
Avenida de las Playas, the beach avenue, is the resort's main road. Commercial premises, shops, restaurants, bars and night clubs line its entire legth. There are over one hundred restaurants with food to suit every taste and every pocket from fast food to gourmet. Also a large variety of shops, boutiques and bazaars stocked with everything from duty free electronics to local arts and crafts and designer clothes, shoes or jewellery. A walk along this beautifully landscaped promenade enjoying the sea breeze whilst admiring the scenery is an absolute must.
Puerto del Carmen by night offers a variety of night-time activities. Bars and clubs offer a wide selection of live and recorded music ranging from rock and roll and jazz and the rhythms of salsa an rhumba to flamenco and Canarian folklore. A more peaceful evening can be spent in one of the many restaurants or pleasant hotel lounges and cocktail bars.
Alternatively you can enjoy the calm tranquility and safe serenity of the warm nights of Puerto del Carmen by taking a leisurely stroll along the beach promenade.
Booking notes
A deposit of 25% is required to secure any booking. Complete payment is required 8 weeks before your holidays, except at last minute bookings. For reservationscontact the owner, he will send you a reservation and booking terms. A £100 damage security deposit is payable with the balance. This is refunded upon return of the key.
