These bungalows are on a very small complex of only 10. The area itself is flat and very peaceful. Just a few minutes away is a large supermarket which caters for almost everything you may need. There are several bars & restaurants to choose from and they are only 2 minutes away from the complex. The complex is ran by Bob & Marilyn who bring a wealth of experience having lived on the island for many years. Each year they strive to improve standards, providing a warm and welcoming service to all our clients. 20 mins walk away is the busy resort of Puerto Del Carmen where there are even more bars and to choose from eg. Chinese, Indian, English, and traditional Spanish food and lots more! There is is a good sized pool which is cleaned 5/6 times a week. Around the pool is a lovely area where you can relax on the sunbeds. We offer a full rental service on any extras you may want on request. We can also help arrange car hire.

There are twin beds in one of the bedrooms and a double bed in the other. In the 3rd bedroom is a single bed but an extra put up bed is available on request. Spacious bathroom with bath which has a shower over it. Large wash basin surround in Granite with large mirror, also a toilet. Kitchen well equipped inc. Microwave/grill, electric kettle and toaster also 2 ring electric hob. The fridge has a small freezer area. Enough crockery, cutlery, frying pan and saucepans. There is also a breakfast bar and stools. Lounge area is comfortably fitted out with tv which has channels in Spanish, German & English. The English channels showing are a Movie channel and Sky News. Mid week towel change. |

Outside each bungalow there are a patio table & chairs (with parasol). The patio over looks the pool area and gardens. The swimming pool is of a good size. There is an nice area with sunbeds to laze around by the pool.
Coast/Beach
The complex is approx 100 mts from a white sandy beach. You can walk along the beach into Puerto Del Carmen which will take approx 20/30 minutes depending how fast you walk.

Lanzarote Golf, Pto. Del Carmen, a new golf course opened in 2008. Similiar to a Links Course.

Travel
Car hire is not essential as everything is close by. If you want to explore the island we can arrange car hire for you. The nearest airport is 10 mins away by taxi. We offer all Island Tours available.
Distances
Matagorda is a small resort about 5 minutes from Puerto Del Carmen by taxi or car or 20/30 minutes walking. The capital city is Arrecife which there is a local bus service every 15 mins. There are many places of interest on the island eg. The green caves, Fire mountain, El Golfo, The house of Caesar Menrique, The cactus gardens and many more. To visit them you can hire a car to travel round the island or there a lots of organised excursions (ask at reception).
Booking notes
Reserving the bungalows we need a 15% deposit, unless booking is under 6 weeks of departure date, we then need payment in full. Total balance of the holiday must be paid 6 weeks prior to departure. Although in certain circumstances payment can be paid on arrival in euros.

About the owner
Myself and my family have lived on the Island of Lanzarote for 16 years. We offer a warm and friendly service also a wealth of knowledge of the island. My partner and I maintain and look after the bungalows to a good standard. We offer an excellent service whilst you are on holiday to help make your stay a happy one. We have a very high percentage of repeat bookings and referrals.
Why the owner chose a home in this location
The area of Matagorda is very quiet and tranquil and flat and ideal for ages. There is the beautiful beach in Matagorda and the sea front is all in paviers which makes is ideal for children. There is a small shopping centre in Matagorda which caters for everything with supermarkets, multi-national restaurants and bars.
Only 3 minute taxi ride into Puerto Del Carmen where you will find many beaches and an abundance of shops and restaurants to cater for everyone. Matagorda is a great choice for a holiday if you want sun, sea and sand!
