We are about as near as you can get to the lovely marina Rubicon and within 1000m are 30 places to eat, a yellow beach, 2 supermarkets, bowling alley, sailing, scuba a doctors and lots of shops. We paid extra for this property so we can see the marina and sea and have a large planted garden which is private and has its own solar heated pool. You do not need a hire car and the car is not in the garden like many. The villa is of the highest quality with modern furnishings and state of the art kitchen. The marina can be viewed from the balcony and ground level which is unique. We have a very professional support team who we are proud to tell you about and if you do run into difficulties we can help you.

Notes on prices
Prices are for the property per week in UK Pounds. Please enquire about late bookings. We do offer discounts within one month of departure. Cot hire plus sheets is £20 per week. Cot hire and high chair package £25 per week.
Changeover day
Always Thursday's. Depart is at 10:00 am and arrival from 2:00 pm unless prior agreed and therefore giving our team time to prepare for incoming guests.

The living room is very nice and a good size with La Troja wicker furniture and next dining table and chairs. There is a double and single lounge suite. The room has been decorated with local Lanzarotian art. There is a double door overlooking the garden. |
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service: |
We have an excellent pool and linen and towel service, changed weekly and towels twice weekly. The villa is cleaned before your arrival and then weekly. The pool is cleaned and you have towels and linen on hand. |

Accessibility
There are steps up into the garden and into the bedrooms. This villa is not ideally suitable for people with severe disability. Sorry.
Outside
The garden large and very private with a high privacy wall to one side and no property to the other and child friendly (easy to see from the villa). The Garden is excellent and has been planted with palm trees and cactus as well as geraniums.
The private pool is a good size and solar heated which is environmentally friendly. There is a large BBQ and tables and chairs for outside dining. The dining area is wind protected so you don't get annoying breezes.
Coast/Beach
Beaches are all accessible on foot but the nearest is Dorada beach which is 1000m away. There is a nice waterfront walk from the Marina to Dorada which is suitable by buggy or wheelchair. The famous Papagayo beaches are best accessed by car but can be walked. There are 6 beaches and all are lovely yellow sand. If you are a naturist then this is where you might like to visit. There are a number of beaches, what we call 'locals beaches' which take a little more searching. Nearest 400m.
Special interest holidays
The marina is ideal for people who like to scuba, sail and enjoy life on the water. There are kayaks for the kids. If you like ten pin bowling there is a bowling alley and for the golfers there is a pitch and put course and crazy golf for the kids and bouncy castles. On Dorada beach there are banana boats and pedalos.
Travel
The airport is 20 mins drive. Many people use a cab to Playa Blanca but hire cars are relatively cheap and can save you a cab fair particularly for people on a 1 week break. Pick the car up from the airport. You do not need a car for your stay in the villa however as we are in the action and not in the sticks.
Distances
Lanzarote is relatively small and from Playa Blanca to the top of the island takes about an hour. There are great Markets and once you have done the Market in the Marina Rubicon then try Teguise Market. There is of course Fire Mountain and some great places of interest such as the Cesar Mariguee museum and cactus garden. There are great places to eat on the Island and you might like to try fish in El Golfo, Quamada or Famara all are great. If you like to surf then try Famara beach.

Booking notes
Changeover is always Thursday unless late booking. Deposit is £100 per week. Balance due 2 calendar months prior to holiday. £100 returnable breakages allowance is paid with balance. Last year this villa was booked for 47 weeks and many come back. If you do visit your repeat booking is £50 cheaper per week. The villa is great for up to 4 people and we have tried to think of everything. Book now!
