Great Shopping in Copacabana (Oxford streetish) - Ipanema (Designer). Very hot December and January. Can be chilly in July and August in the evening. But lovely days - not too hot.

Notes on accommodation
The building is a quiet family building and so guests are asked to respect this fact. Late night partying is not encouraged. Fine for children.
Accessibility
There is wheel chair access from the side/garage entrance to elevators and then direct to apartment.
Outside
Private garden - between building and road. Pleasant to sit in - shady. There is also a roof terrace.
Coast/Beach
Both Ipanema and Copacabana beaches are within a couple of minutes walk.
Golf
Gavea Golf Country Club a fifteen/twenty minute cab ride.
Volley Ball, Fresco Ball, Beach Football all played locally.
