Verviers is a city situated in the valley between the Ardennes and the Hautes Fagnes. You can see historic buildings in the old centre, with lot of nice shops. On the gastronomy side, there are a lot of restaurants to choose from. Apart of course from the famous Belgium kitchen there are Italian, Greek, Spanish and Moroccan restaurants where you can go for a good meal. There are a lot of tourist activities in the surrounding area. Beautiful woods, mountains, rivers to canoe, golf links, and in winter of course skiing, many castles and museums to visit. The famous opera de Liege. From Maastricht, Liege and Aachen it is only half an hour drive to Verviers.

There are 2 bathrooms with bath/shower, toilet and wash basin and a separate toilet. There are 4 bedrooms with large double beds. 1 bedroom has 2 single beds. 2 of the bedrooms also have a sofabed, suitable for an extra 2 people. Bed linen and bath towels included. |

There is a large garden of 1000 sq.m. with a large terrace. Outdoor furniture, barbecues and a woodstove.
Golf
A 15 minute drive from Verviers, near the city of Spa, there is a lovely golf course.
Skiing
At Malmedy, Stavelot and the Baraque Michel you have langlauf and skiing facilities, only half an hour driving from Verviers.
Travel
The nearest airport is Bruxelles. There is a train station at Verviers. Buses can bring you to several places, bikes you can hire.

Verviers is half an hour driving from Maastricht, Liege and Aachen (Germany).
Further details
Verviers has nice shopping places, restaurants, museums and churches. There are a lot of antique markets every Friday, Saturday and Sunday. In the city of spa you can go to the Thermes and every September the Grand Prix is in Francorchamps. There are beautiful woods to walk, Grand Routes, rivers to canoe, golf courses, skiing and langlauf.

After booking and receiving the contract by mail, you have to pay 50% of the amount. The other 50% should be on our bank account ten days before arriving.
