This newly refurbished 2 bedroom apartment is situated on the sixth floor of a nine storey apartment block on the sea promenade offering a panoramic view over Wenduine's large sandy beach and the North Sea. Wenduine is a well established family resort situated between the ‘belle epoque’ town of De Haan and Belgium’s most popular resort Blankenberge. The apartment is clean and bright and is ideal for up to 6 people with a queen size double bed in the main bedroom, a large bunk bed in the second bedroom and a new large sofa bed in the lounge. A TV with many European channels is provided along with 4 comfortable dining chairs and a table. There is also a new fitted kitchen and the bathroom has also been fully refurbished with a modern white tiled shower unit. An ideal place to stay for everyone who wants to enjoy a self contained beach holiday with easy access to the culturally rich attractions of Bruges and the Belgium coast...all year round!

Accessibility
The building has a lift but it has not been specifically constructed for wheelchair users. Please ask for your own requirements. Wenduine in general (including access to the beach) has been adapted for those less able and wheelchair users.

Outside
A sun lounger is provided on one of the balconies.
Bikes, go-carts,etc can be hired outside the apartment.
A public heated indoor swimming pool is located next to the apartment.

Coast/Beach
The apartment overlooks the fine sandy beach of Wenduine. Lifeguards patrol the beach during the summer months and it is clean and safe for children. Sun beds, deckchairs are available to hire and also play areas are provided for children of all ages.

Golf
The Royal Ostend Golf club which is the only links course in Belgium is 6km away. At par 70 and 5601m in length it provides a challenging and technical golf course, as well as outstanding views over the sea and the dunes.

Travel
Wenduine is centrally located on the Belgium coast only 80 mins driving time from Calais/Channel Tunnel and also only 20 mins driving time from Ostend. The railway station in nearby Blankenberge provides fast access to Brussels, Ghent and the other major cities in Belgium. The fast coast tram that stops outside the door provides easy access to the whole of the Belgium coast from De Panne in the south to Knokke in the North and the picturesque city of Bruges is only 30 mins away by a direct bus.

There are plenty of shops including a well stocked supermarket a short walk away. The sea promenade also offers a lot of good restaurants and bars where you can sample fantastic Belgium food including the traditional Belgium 'mosselen and frites' and trappist beers.

A deposit of 250 euros is required at handing over of keys. The end cleaning cost is 60 euros is taken out of the deposit and repaid by bank transfer within 2 weeks. Please contact owner for further details.

Guest comments
The view from the front balcony is an absolute dream! The flat is very nice, clean and completely furnished and even can openers, corkscrews and vegetable peelers exist. Wenduine is very family friendly and particularly suitable for families with children up to teenager's age. A large number of lifeguards are present on the beach and provide good security and safety for everyone. The sea becomes only slowly deeper and is also suitable for non-swimmers as well. In bad weather there are also numerous museums, swimming pools and leisure parks in the area to visit. For us Wenduine was an absolute family dream vacation and our children (5/3) enjoyed it immensely. All holidaymakers we came across were very nice. Children can freely move around the promenade and are also welcomed everywhere. The life on the promenade begins at 10am and ends around 10-11pm. Andy, Rommerskirchen, Germany.
