A newly built villa completed in 2008. It is situated in a residential area very close to the bay of Arenal and the views are beautiful as the villa sits on the headland that leads to the sea. It is finished to a very high standard and has a dishwasher, washing machine and best of all air-conditioning. There is entertainment and restaurants around a 15 minute walk away and the golf course at Son Parc is a 10-15 minute drive. It's location is right next door and within walking distance to the fishing village of Na Macaret and around a 20 minute drive from Mahon. Arenal is located almost half way along the north of the island and to travel from one end to the other takes 45 minutes. We have been visiting Menorca for over 20 years and have stayed in some beautiful places so if you like a relaxing holiday and enjoy the sea this will be perfect. Notes on accommodation
Our villa is situated at the end of a cul de sac and so relatively traffic free as well as having a wall and secure gates around the land. It is situated in a residential area. There is a pharmacist a 2 minute drive away on the other side of Arenal D'en Castel bay which is always reassuring. Local restaurants offer everything from quiet dining to bouncy castles and entertainment bars.
Accessibility
There is a drive on the front of the property that will easily accommodate two cars. There is also a path around the property and the land that it sits on is quite level. If you find stairs a problem for mobility reasons then you can comfortably spend your holiday downstairs.
Outside
There is a garden with a little grass at the back, flower beds around the property and a path leading all the way around. Maturing gardens. The pool area is surrounded by terraces. The pool is private, 8 by 4m with roman steps leading into it. This is situated at the back of the house looking over the headland to the sea. Next to the pool area is an outside shower. There is a large outside table and chairs on the covered terrace and sun loungers around the pool. There is a barbecue available to use. A stone wall surrounds the land.
Coast/Beach
5 minute walk to the top of the steps that lead down to Arenal Den Castel Bay. You can get the buggy down these steps as we have many times and there is a restaurant on the way down with lovely sunsets from the terrace. Arenal bay is large and sandy and beautiful, I think it is my favourite beach. The water is mostly calm, quite shallow and very clear. There is a great opportunity to snorkel and even the locals come in their diving suits and swim out to catch big fish with harpoons.
Golf
Son Parc golf course is very popular and a short drive from the house.
Travel
Mahon airport and main town is around a 20 minute drive away. Car hire is not essential.

The local supermarket is a 1 minute walk away.
Booking notes
To book our villa we require 30% of the rental price. The balance is payable 8 weeks before departure. We require a security deposit 8 weeks prior to departure. This will not be cashed and will be returned to you upon satisfactory inspection of the house by our housekeeper.
