The apartment is situated on the second floor, is bright and comfortably furnished, comprising a lounge/diner with picture window-doors leading to an enclosed balcony with views across to the mountain range, providing a dramatic backdrop, ideal for dining and sundowners. The attraction of this apartment is its location, in close proximity to the sandy beach, the Pine Walk and all that Puerto Pollensa has to offer such as the various restaurants, bars, shops and the resorts ambience. Notes on prices
2010 prices are for the property per week in UK Pounds. Discounts by negotiation for long winter lets, the weather can still be very pleasant. Mid-week changeovers available for better flight deals. Departure before 10.00am and arrival after 3.00pm.

Flexible changeover days are available for those who seek value for money in flight prices or duration of stay. Departure time by 10am and arrival time after 3pm.

Bedrooms: Bedroom 1 with twin beds, fitted wardrobe and balcony with mountain view.
Bedroom 2 with twin beds and fitted wardrobe.
There is a sofa bed in sitting room. The apartment is most suitable for four persons, possibly five using the sofa bed.
Bathrooms: The bathroom comprises a bath & shower, sink and vanity unit, WC, attractive low level 12v lighting and is tiled throughout.
Kitchen: A fitted kitchen comprises a cooker, hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster, utensils, crockery and cutlery and meets most self-catering needs.
Utility Room: There is no washing machine, but there is an inexpensive laundry service available all year nearby in Vicente Buades (road). Also hand washed clothes dry quicky on the balcony in the warm weather. An iron and ironing board is provided.
Living Rooms: A lounge/diner provides comfortable living and dining requirement. It comprises a dining area, sofa bed, easy chairs and occasional table. A TV with UK digital channels, video/DVD is provided, together with a selection of films.
Other: The apartment has an enclosed balcony with views across to the Tramantana mountain range. Balcony furniture, comprising a table and chairs are provided for dining and/or relaxation. The balcony is bathed in sunshine in the afternoon/evening.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
Cleaning, linen and towels are provided weekly. Beach towels are not provided.

Whether you prefer to enjoy some delicious Spanish tapas while admiring the glorious views of the coastline and the clear blue sea beyond, or explore the many other attractions of the resort, the apartment is in a good location to offer something for everyone and it is therefore particularly popular with both couples and families. Accessibility
This is second floor apartment. There is both elevator and staircase access. There are 2 steps before the elevator otherwise the accommodation is level. The apartment is on a little used one-way street which has no pedestrian pavement. The apartment is very close to the beach front.

Outside
Some people express a preference for a swimming pool? Not us. Instead there is the azure Mediterranean ocean, just a few metres from the apartment with the gently shelving sandy beach and safe bathing. It foregoes that film of sun lotion, the irritating chlorine on hair, eyes and skin and the general 'whoop n holler'. There's no choice really!

Coast/Beach
There is a good beach for safe swimming, many watersports, a marina, an array of arts and craft shops, quaint boutiques and a colourful weekly market held in the town square. The elegant, pedestrianised Pine Walk skirts the seafront and is lined with a variety of bistros, bars, restaurants and cafes.

Golf
Great golf is available a short distance by road, 15 mins to both Pollensa and Alcanada golf courses.

Special interest holidays
The resort is popular for those interested in water sports, hill walking, birdwatching, golf or just relaxing!

Travel
The resort is located in the North East of the island, which is approx 50 mins drive (60kms) from Palma and is one of the most stunning areas of Majorca.

Distances
The old town of Pollensa is good to explore, particularly on market day, Sunday. A visit to Formentor either by boat or by road to view the sunset is popular. Vehicles and bicycles are available to hire and for those who enjoy the hinterland and wildlife, walking by the mountains to Cala San Vincente or the Boquer Valley are some such possibilities.

Recreation possibilities are numerous, birdwatching, board sailing, boating, canoeing, cycling - road and trail, dancing, dingy sailing, driving, dining, sub-aqua diving, golf, hiking, microlite flying, off-shore sailing, painting, shopping, snorkeling, swimming, tennis, ten pin bowling, travelling and tours, reading, swimming, sunbathing, water skiing...and of course relaxing.

We love going to he apartment in Puerto Pollensa when we can, but the rest of the time it's available for others to enjoy too.

Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
We bought the apartment when the block was first built and we have been visiting regularly ever since, as have the children and their children.

Unique benefits of the property
We like the fact that we are close to the beach so we can pop back for lunch and a drink, a shower or a snooze. Nearby there are plenty of restaurants, bars and cafes, together with Square, Pine Walk the mountains and Pollensa.
