Monday is our normal changeover day for peak season. In the months of May, September and October we would be pleased to consider other changeover days.

Notes on accommodation
The apartment is not suitable for wheelchair access as there are a few steps both inside, and to approach, the apartment. No Pets are allowed.

Coast/Beach
Within a few minutes walk you will be on one of the best beaches Menorca has to offer. There is a superb beach bar where drinks and snacks are available all day. At the back of the beach there are overhanging trees where you can have shade in the heat of the day for your lunchtime picnic. Or catch the fun land train to Punta Prima or Binibeca Vell for a variety of alternative experiences.

Travel
Mahon Airport is just 20 minutes drive away. Car hire is recommended to make the most of your stay on this idyllic island and this can be arranged for you at discount prices should you wish. Airport transfers available.

Distances
Menorca is a small island, and the old town of Ciutadella, at the other end, is less than an hour by car. In Cala Torret itself, we have several bars, restaurants, a supermarket, a laundry, and superb bakery, all within a hundred metres of the apartment.

Further details
Cala Torret is situated in the south eastern corner of Menorca between Punta Prima and Binibeca Vell. The land train runs all summer between these two resorts stopping at Cala Torret regularly. There is also a bus service into Mahon if you don’t feel like hiring a car. The island has more beaches than all the other Balearic islands put together and is yet to be hit by major tourism. You can often find a remote cove where you will be by yourself for most of the day. Menorca has a population of 88,000, 10% of whom are British and English is spoken in all the holiday resorts. Mallorca may be larger, Ibiza may be brasher, but Menorca remains calm and dignified. The impression you get, will be of an island at ease with itself.
