We will be happy to discuss discounts for early bookings, periods greater than 2 weeks, small parties, low season lets or late availability.
Returning guests receive a discount.
Changeover day
Changeover day is normally on a Friday. Arrival after 2pm, departure before 10am. Special arrangements may be possible to match flights on other days, particularly in the low season.

Large, open plan lounge/dining room comfortably furnished with sofa, armchairs, coffee table, display units. Satellite TV, books and radio/CD. Open woodburning fire (when needed). Dining table and chairs. French windows open onto covered terrace and pool. |
Cleaning/towels/

The house is fully prepared for your arrival. All linen and bath towels are provided and changed as part of the weekly maid service. Please bring your own beach towels. The pool is also cleaned and maintained during your stay. |
Notes on accommodation
Remote controlled air conditioning/heating units are available in all 3 bedrooms. There is an open, wood-burning fire in the lounge for the cooler months. The gardens are particularly suitable for young children as gates can be closed between the rear garden and the pool area if required.

Accessibility
There is a driveway leading to the house and a ground floor bedroom and bathroom. Just one step leads from the covered outdoor dining area to the pool terrace and garden areas. There are however stairs leading to the upper floor and roof terraces.
Outside
Covered terrace with table and 6 chairs. Terracing around private pool (8m x 4m), with sun loungers and umbrella, is totally enclosed and not overlooked. It benefits from the sun all day long. Gates lead to Mediterranean style gardens at front and rear. There is a built-in tiled table with tiled benches easily reached from the kitchen, a BBQ area with a sink set in a tiled work surface and a clothes drying area with outside shower. The private, enclosed rear garden has a flower bed, trees offering some shade and a terrace with a teak dining table and six chairs.
Outside the 2 upstairs bedrooms there are further terraces with views over the open countryside and stairs leading down to the pool terrace. An outside staircase leads up to a further roof terrace with views over pine trees to the sea and the harbour.
There is ample private, off road parking.
Coast/Beach
5 mins drive to Arenal den Castell with its safe, sandy beach, shops and bars. 10 mins to award winning Son Parc and 10 mins drive to Fornells for its excellent restaurants, sailing, windsurfing or a stroll along the promenade. The port of Addaia is within walking distance and offers diving facilities and a small waterside bar.
Golf
Son Parc 18 hole Golf course and clubhouse is a 10 mins drive away. Designed by ex-Ryder Cup player Dave Thomas, the final phase of this development was opened in August 2006. It is bordered on one side by the Wetlands Nature Reserve and has some interesting rock bunkers, lakes and reed beds. It is a great course for beginners and experts alike.
The Club also boasts excellent tennis facilities and a restaurant.
Travel
Mahon airport is 25 minutes away by car.
To enable you the freedom to tour the whole island at your leisure, car hire is recommended. There are numerous car hire companies on the island and indeed on the internet offering competitive rates. Addaia is ideal for easy access to the many beaches, historic sites and nature reserves around the island.
Distances
5 mins walk to local shops, several bars and restaurants and a tennis court. Internet access available locally. 15 mins drive to Alayor, which offers more comprehensive local shopping and banks.
20 mins drive to the port of Mahon with a wide selection of eating places overlooking the second largest natural deep water harbour in the world and extensive shopping facilities. Archaeological and historical attractions easily accessible. No attraction in Menorca is more than about 50 mins by car.
Further details
Diving in the area is superb and there are excellent dive centres in Addaia and Fornells both offering a full range of courses for all levels. Windsurfing is another popular local sport.
Much of the North coast is a marine park.
Spring and Autumn are very popular for walking holidays with an abundance of colourful wild flowers and bird life.
Facilities for horseriding, tennis, cycling, windsurfing and dinghy sailing are within easy reach and there are several yacht and boat charter companies on the island.
