Our four houses all of which have air-conditioning and internet connection are situated in the prime front line position of the estate. Each house is well furnished with modern kitchens, bath/shower rooms, LCD TV, Sky, DVD, internet access, washer, dryer, dishwasher etc. Tramontana has just 25 houses positioned around lovely gardens and is situated on the side of the beautiful Mahon Harbour. It is very peaceful and friendly and the views from the houses of the harbour with the passing boats are absolutely stunning. There is a large pool with a children’s section and a car park. A small general store and a restaurant are within a few yards of the estate entrance. The lively Es Castell with Calas Fons and its restaurants are within a 10 minute walk. Many of the island’s beautiful beaches are within a 15 to 30 minute drive and airport 15 minutes. The owners who previously lived in No 1 are close by.

Notes on accommodation
As these properties are very strictly non-smoking they are unsuitable for smokers. All are air-conditioned and have heating. Sorry no pets. Please note that during November to February the minimum booking is four weeks. The position of the properties offer truly stunning views from the quiet and peaceful Tramontana estate and yet are within a 5 to 10 minute walk to the delightful lively little Town of Es Castell and Calas Fons with it's many restaurants, bars etc. and frequent bus service to Mahon and the central bus garage for the Island services.

The private patios are equipped with patio furniture. Table and chairs and sunbeds.
Coast/Beach
Menorca is an Island with many, many beautiful beaches and being only 35 miles long means that many beaches can be reached within a 10 to 30 minute drive.
Golf
Son Parc golf course is 20 minutes drive away.
Travel
The airport is only 15 minutes away by car and the ferry terminal is 10 minutes.
Although a car will add to the enjoyment of your holiday, a 10 minute walk to Es Castell will take you to the bus stop for the 10 minute ride to Mahon from which many places on the island can then be reached by public transport. However,the position of the houses is such that many holidaymakers do not wish to leave the ever changing maritime views and relaxing gardens and spend the entire holiday there!

Further details
Sol del Este is a small urbanisation less than ten minutes walk from the small town of Es Castell. There is a restaurant/bar and shop within 100 yards of the property. In Es Castell, apart from supermarkets, lively square and many restaurants and bars is the delightful cove of Calas Fons with its picturesque views that can be enjoyed from the many bars and restaurants. There is a bus every 30 minutes for the 10 minute ride to the capital of Menorca, Mahon. Buses can be caught here to many areas of the Island.
Booking notes
A non-refundable deposit of 20% is taken upon booking and the balance is due no later than 8 weeks before the start of the holiday.

The position of the property is truly stunning, to have a front garden with a water feature that has ocean going liners passing through it, is just amazing. What a lovely house no. 6 is. I have rented a number of houses in both Menorca and mainland Spain and yours is the most beautifully appointed of them all. Dad loved sitting outside watching the shipping go by, he also enjoyed the harbour tour on the yellow catamaran.
