Our villa in Trebaluger is located half way between the picturesque towns of San Lluis and Es Castell. The villa is fully air conditioned – a must for the Menorcan summer and to the front of the villa is a beautiful garden that provides welcome shade from the mid-summer sun. At the rear is a good-sized swimming pool, (7m x 4m), and large sun deck. To the side the barbecue/outside kitchen area is complete with two sinks a food and drink preparation area and there are four outside eating areas to choose from (as well as table tennis if you’re feeling energetic).

Changeover day
We let Monday to Monday, but may be able to be flexible out of the main season.

Notes on accommodation
Ours is not a ‘book the villa’ and then sort yourselves out experience. We are happy to arrange the hire car for you, we only work with proven operators, we ensure all the paperwork is done pre departure, so all you have to do is jump in the car and head to your holiday home. Whilst we have included the essentials, loo paper, soaps, kitchen toweling, tea, coffee, oils, sugar and all the basic condiments, we also offer a get you started shopping service (you pay for your pre ordered goods on arrival). High chair and cot with bedding are available for a small additional charge. We like to make sure that you have everything that you want to ensure a happy time with us. From Trebaluger there are some scenic cycle rides, all nicely signposted, and whilst we do not have a supply of bicycles we can arrange for them to be hired in for you.
Accessibility
The house is all on one level with French window access to the pool area from two of the bedrooms. The internal doors will struggle to offer access to wheelchair users.
Outside
Beautiful gardens, peaceful and secluded setting far away from the crowds. Large pool, (7m x 4m), and deck area, lots of outdoor furniture and sun beds. To compliment the house kitchen we have an extensive BBQ area, with work surfaces, twin sinks, wood oven, a gas paella ring, as well as the large BBQ itself
Coast/Beach
Whilst Trebaluger doesn’t boast it’s own beach, you’re never very far from the sea. The beautiful port of Cales Fonts boasts a myriad of restaurants, whilst the beaches of Punta Prima, Alcalfar, Binibequer and Binissafuller are no more than a 10-minute drive.
Golf
We are delighted that Son Parc now offers a full 18 hole course, but do remember 'mad dogs and Englishmen'. The course and family friendly facilities are about a 20/30 minute drive away. Cricket mad, bring your kit, the cricket club is a little bit of England in the Med'. They are always pleased to offer visitors the chance of a game. In and around the village there a numerous cycle ways, bikes can be hired in upon request.
Skiing
No snow as yet, but will keep you posted.
Special interest holidays
Ideal location for bird watching, cycling, painting, walking, diving, all water sports or just for relaxation, eating and drinking.
Travel
What do you care? you will be met you at the airport with car/s and try not to laugh at the long queues of people at the airport waiting for their minibus to take them to the industrial estate to get their hire car.
Distances
Unlike many locations in Menorca that were built specifically for holidays, Trebaluger is an all-year round functioning village. The village integrates old + rustic Spanish homes with modern villas perfectly. A walk along its winding lanes will reveal beautifully kept gardens. The modern local supermarket is served by friendly staff, most of whom speak fluent English and it is well stocked with not only excellent Spanish foods, but English ‘goodies’ as well. Best of all, it’s a stress free zone.
Further details
A few minutes drive takes you to San Lluis that was founded by the French in the mid-18th Century. It’s a picturesque traditional Menorcan town, with a host of excellent shops, restaurants and bars. And, should you feel the need for a ‘big supermarket buzz’, Syp is just down the road. Es Castell, once an English stronghold is strategically located at the mouth of Mahon harbour. It was heavily fortified in the 17th & 18th Centuries and is steeped in history. The town has a distinct urban feel with its many shops, bars and restaurants, whilst the town square thrives with activity late into the nights.
Booking notes
Upon booking we require a 25% deposit, with the balance 6 weeks before your holiday start date. On the day of arrival the house is yours from 1pm, on the day of departure the house must be vacated by 10am to allow the cleaners to prepare the house for our next arrivals.

I am writing on behalf of all our little troop (including the youngest member) to say how much we enjoyed a completely successful holiday in Menorca.
I hardly need to tell you that we found everything in the villa attractive as well as convenient, spacious and comfortable, or that the welcome and services offered by Pat & John, by Ishmael & Nicky and by Di were outstanding.
Considering the early time of year we had plenty of sunshine. Sardinian warblers and hoopoes were often in the garden and there was already a good-number of flowers including orchids 'in bloom. The whole island was peaceful and uncrowded, and we had quite beautiful walks on some of the many coastal paths.
We were particularly delighted with the village shop, both the range. and quality of the produce and the friendliness of the people.
The information and suggestions you sent us in advance and we also found in the villa was extremely helpful. We loved Menorca, thank you.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
Having discovered Menorca some 15 years ago, well someone else discovered it first well before that but you know what we mean, we decided that we needed a base to visit that offered us a standard of accommodation we had found lacking on our first stay.
Over the years we have stocked the house to the gunnels with all anyone would need to have a luxury holiday. It seems to be working and our original plan for a base for us has backfired in that we may get a week at the end of September if we are lucky.
We also have another house under ref B2280, and a house in Cornwall, ref E2607.
