Calaben a comfortable village house on two levels. Street parking outside your own front gate leading onto your own large front terrace entrance. This first level has a newly fitted kitchen, cloakroom/utility room and a generous lounge/dining room, out to a seaview terrace. On the lower level, fully fitted bathroom with shower, 3 bedrooms. The master bedroom leads onto its own private terrace with a seaview. Four minutes from the centre of Cala Galdana, complete with all its facilities, and the sandy beach situated within a very gentle, horseshoe shaped, child friendly and beautiful bay.

Changeover day
Bookings from/to Saturday, although flexibility is often possible. Apartment ready for entry from 1.00pm. We ask guests to please depart by no later than 10.00am on your day of departure in order that we may have time to prepare it for our next guests.

Coast/Beach
Four minutes walk to the beach and all the other typical seaside village resort amenities. This is the most ideal mediterranean seaside bay destination for young children. This is the place my children loved when young, and where they all learnt to swim! Cala Galdana is a very suitable and safe, small, seaside village in which to take pre-teenage children on a sun and seaside holiday. Older ones will enjoy a comfortable leisuretime with easy and accessible light evening entertainment.
Travel
Menorca (Mahon) Airport 35kms or 25 minutes drive.
Car Hire recommended.
Distances
Cala Galdana 10 minutes from the larger town Ferrerias, which is on the only main road between Cuitadella and Mahon. Highest point 20 minutes away is Monte Torre from where one can see the complete perimeter of the Island.
Further details
Most Menorcians speak English, the Island was under British administration for many years, spot the influence; black and white freesian milking cows, a thriving leather industry and a specialist British gin distillery in the port of Mahon, Admiral Nelson kept Lady Hamilton nearby, all these places make an interesting visit. Banks, Supermarkets, Cafes, Restaurants, Hotels, Chemists, Medical Centres are all very much in tune to supplying British requirements. Daily English newspapers, full English breakfasts and fresh English milk are common place.
Booking notes
A non-refundable deposit of £125pw is required to secure your booking, with the balance to be paid eight weeks' prior to your arrival. £200 key, damages/loss deposit required with the balance, returnable at the end of your stay.

Just returned from 2 weeks in Calaben, Cala Galdana. This is a fabulous place. Its huge. Much bigger than the photos show. Fully equipped kitchen. John Lewis bedding and towels.2 big balconies, plenty of shade if needed which is brilliant when eating alfresco. Quiet, dark and cool back bedroom, perfect. Huge master bedroom. Its a home from home - but with the added bonus of sun. Linda Billing, Merseyside (July 2010).
Calaben was everything hoped for and more. It was clean & spotless. The views from both terraces were superb and it would be difficult to think of anything else to be included. Mike Cowling, Cardiff (Sept 09).
The house was a lot bigger than we thought and the photo's on your web site don't do it justice. Brilliant view from the upstairs balcony where we enjoyed many a night sitting round the table and relaxing! Good facilities too, with the dishwasher & washing machine.
