Notes on accommodation
Carbon monoxide detector and smoke detector fitted. The apartment is not suitable for wheelchair access as there are steps, on approach to the apartment. Pets not allowed.

Accessibility
The village of Cala Torret is not suitable for wheelchairs as there are numerous steps around.

Outside
Extensive roof terrace (largest one of about only half a dozen in the village) with excellent sea views, sun shines on roof terrace from sunrise to sunset, includes sun beds, table, chairs, parasol and barbecue. Superb venue for those late night barbecues and sangria.

Coast/Beach
Five minutes walk to the blue flag beach of Binibeca with renowned bar and toilet facilities. Red cross post manned during summer months. Diving school "Triton" available 5 minutes walk away, between apartment and beach.

Golf
Son Parc Golf course is 20 minutes drive from the apartment.

Travel
Only 10 minutes from Mahon airport, 15 minutes to the centre of Mahon and 45 minutes to Ciutadella town situated at the western end of the island by car.

Distances
Cala Torret has a good selection of restaurants and bars, and is well supplied with supermarkets, bakers/coffee shop, pizzeria and laundrette. The picturesque fishing village of Binibeca Vell is only 10 minutes stroll away alongside the sea front, famous for its fish restaurants. San Lluis has a full range of shops and is only 5 minutes away by car.

Further details
On the edge of Cala Torret village is the information office and management centre. From this office you can get advice and information, rent mopeds and push bikes, and even ask them to check the times on your return flights. (A small charge is made for phone calls). In front of this is a small harbor with jetty and hoist for launching small boats, and is home to Binibèquer 'Triton' Diving School. The area is also very good for swimming and snorkeling with the jetty and steps making access to the water easy. there's also a bar/restaurant 'Bar Paupa' in the harbor open all day. The beach, a good sheltered and calm Cala (inlet), with it's fine white sand is ideal for young children. The beach bar, Los Bucanero open from around 10am serves drinks, snacks and light meals is very good. There are public lavatories, sun beds, sun brollies and pedalos for hire.

About the owner
My husband and myself live on the island of Menorca, so are on hand should you require us. We love the tranquillity that Menorca holds. The island is the greenest and personally I think the prettiest. Also there are no high rise buildings. When you arrive in Menorca within hours you can feel the stress of the UK leave you. There are some beautiful beaches and the marina boasts a great range of bars and restaurants. The area is easily accessible with Mahon airport less than twenty minutes drive away.

Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
Because it offers everything here. Supermarket, Laundry, Bakery, 7 restaurants/bars and diving school. It is only 20 minutes drive from Mahon airport.

Unique benefits of the property
The apartment has a large roof terrace. There are only four others with a roof terrace and a balcony. Ours is the largest. We live not far away from this apartment.
