Close to the parking area with easy access to the house. Ideal base for walking the famous Baranc. Computer ADSL available and fee paying access to local Hotel swimming pool.

Notes on prices
Prices are for the property per week in euros and approximate UK pounds. Easter by negotiation. We regret the house is not suitable for toddlers, but babies and children are welcome.
Daily rate is 90 euros. Limit 4 days. Plus an extra day for changeover.
Discounts considered for stays longer than 2 weeks.
Changeover day
Normally Saturday but, depending upon the next booking, the check out day may be negotiable.

Linen and towels (including beach towels), are provided. The weekly price is inclusive of a pre weekly clean. Linen 10 euros extra per person. |
Notes on accommodation
Ground floor:
The tiled Entrada opens onto a cosy sitting room with wood burning stove and in turn leads to a well appointed dining/kitchen off which is a small outside patio leading to a bathroom and pantry.
The small 'Sobrasada' room allows storage for wood, bicycle, luggage plus an office desk
Exterior steps lead to a sunny terrace with laundry and 'the Yellow Room', the 3rd twin bedroom.
2nd level:
Traditionally furnished master bedroom with kingsize bed. Off the landing is a large bathroom with shower/bath, toilet, bidet, washbasin and storage cupboards.
3rd level:
2nd bedroom with kingsize bed, a siesta space for getting away, and up a step into the studio art room with fridge, sink and conveniences for drinking & eating.
There is a gas ring for outdoor cooking above stored here also.
An easel is available for the artist + working table.
4th Level:
Terrace with sink, table, chairs, small cactus garden & amazing views. Ideal for meals, sunny lunches and romantic dinners
Accessibility
The house is close to parking and on street level. Transfer of luggage from the car is easy.
Outside
Small idyllic courtyard with potted plants on lower level. On the 4th level, a roof terrace, with wonderful views up and down the valley. Ideal for catching a few rays of sun with a drink or 2, and even setting up the easel. Great for watching the 'Puig' (Mountain) turn orange and then pink, as the sunsets on the Tramuntana mountain range.
Coast/Beach
Swimming is accessible by car, about 15 minutes to Puerto Soller and a little further to Cala Deya, or, to the other side of the island, 1 hour to Playa Es Trenc. Swimming pool at Soller, table tennis and tennis courts available at the village sports centre
Travel
30km to Palma airport (30/40 minutes by car).
There is no public transport to Fornalutx and we recommend that you hire a car.

Further details
Soller, a very pleasant historic town, great for shopping is a 2km walk or drive, Palma the capital of the island, a 40 minute drive and a little longer to the airport.

Alternatively, EasyJet has a fleet of mini-mercs located near Palma airport with the basic price of £9 per day.
Booking notes
Booking deposit of 175 euros per week booked, transferred to Banco Credito Fornalutx, the balance in cash on arrival. Check in time after 3.00pm and out at 10.00am.

Review Text: "We are a family of 6 (two adults and our four children between 8-17) who came from Sweden last summer and rented this very lovely house in Fornaluxt. We felt very welcome. The house and the little village was adorable and Catalinas shop and the sweet oranges we bought there left memories.
It was so hot in august that some of us slept up on the roof terrace, listening to the sheep bells and looking at the stars. There was a very beatiful view from the roof and we had a exciting experience with a thunderstorm up in the mountains around. Our children loved the house and we wormly recommend this pleasant living."
