Our holiday home is the perfect place to chill out and relax. Home from home, you will find everything you need for a stress free self catering family holiday. Situated on the quieter North coast with stunning sea views, the apartment is close to the wonderful Son Saura beach, and only 5 mins drive away from the islands only golf club. There are a handful of bars, restaurants and supermarkets within easy reach, but yet far enough away so as not to disturb your tranquillity.

Changeover day
Changeover day is Friday preferably. The apartment will be available from 4pm, though it is possible to leave your luggage on the terrace if you arriver earlier. Clients are requested to vacate the property by 10am on the day of departure.

Bathrooms: Fully tiled bathroom comprising full size bath with shower over. WC, Bidet, large wash basin with mirror over & spotlights, shaver socket.
Kitchen: American diner style kitchen, with electric cooker / hob,
fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, ample cooking utensils, crockery etc.
Utility Room: Outside sink, and washing machine located in rear patio.
Access gained through master bedroom.
Living Rooms: Open plan lounge/ dining room with light and airy cane furniture. Dining table and 6 chairs, sofa, 2 wicker easy chairs, coffee table, sideboard unit and drinks trolley, CD player. English/ Spanish TV/DVD player. Deep mattress folding z-bed if required.
Other: UPVC double glazed patio doors lead onto the large private terrace, with luxury wicker patio furniture, cushioned bench and 4 sunloungers, A built in BBQ completes your outside area.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
All linen, bedding & bath towels are included. Beach towels however are not provided. Towels/ bedding changed weekly only with maid service. Cleaning is arranged before arrival & after departure.

 

Notes on accommodation
The property is managed by an english speaking company, whose contact details will be in the apartment if needed.
There is also a private parking place. Welcome packs are available on arrival at an additional cost if required.

Outside
The terrace facing the pool has the morning sun till lunchtime, so you can enjoy privacy on your patio before lounging round the pool. The gardens are well manicured and maintained, and the private shared pool is cleaned daily in peak periods. The pool is lovely, but very deep, so non swimmers need to be attended at all times.

Coast/Beach
The beach is a 5 minute walk away, though there are many steps down. If preferred you can drive down, and park at the beach carpark. The Son saura is a lovely fine sand beach, with sand dunes, and stunning bay. In the summer months it is lifeguard attended. Menorca has many wonderful beaches and one of the nicest secluded bays can be found after a 30 minute walk over the headland, taking in the aromas of the wild flowers.

Golf
The islands only Golf course is 20 minutes walk from the apartment. The original 9 hole course has recently been extended to 18 holes, including a driving range, tennis courts and al la carte restaurant. We have a full set of clubs in the apartment which you are welcome to use, or clubs can also be hired.

Travel
Mahon airport is a 25 minute drive away from the resort of Son Parc. Taxis cost about 28 euros. Although car hire is not essential to enjoy this holiday, as there are enough amenities within the resort, those wishing to explore this wonderful island will find it useful to hire a car. Buses run from the resort to Fornells and Mahon.

Distances
The island is only 45 miles long, so nowhere is more than an hours drive away. The neigbouring resorts of Fornells, Arenal & Addaya, are approx 10 minutes drive away.
Arenal can also be reached over the headland walk in approx 40 minutes with spectacular sea views.

Further details
Many activities can be arranged in the locality such as horseriding, water skiing, deep sea diving, waterparks
Mahon the capital, approx 30 minutes drive, has a market on Tuesdays/ Saturdays, combine this with a trip on the glass bottomed boat, and lunch watching the fine yachts round the port- Paradise!

Booking notes
Prices are shown in UK pounds per week for up to 5 persons
A 20% deposit is required to secure a booking, with the balance payable 6 weeks prior to departure. In the event of a cancellation we will only refund monies paid, if another booking is secured, so we would advise you take out your own cancellation insurance.
