Tranquillity, privacy and spectacular views perfectly describe this charming hilltop casita, the origins of which are thought to be as a winter livestock shelter then a wine store for produce from the property itself. Opening onto a leafy terrace, the large timber beamed bedroom has a king size mattress on a sandstone base. Three steps up through an archway is the open plan kitchen/dining/living room which opens on to another two terraces with sun lounges and dining areas. The cottage is insulated and has airconditioning and heating including an open fire. Park off street under Sa Viña’s shady lemon trees, and meander to the casita. Part of the path is quite steep but the view justifies 3 minute walk. Sa Vina is a perfect retreat for those wanting relaxation or recreation. Help yourself to seasonal fruit including grapes, lemons and figs. Satellite TV, DVD and CD player, Scrabble and books are there for your enjoyment.

The sunny terraces set among grape vines and variety of fruit trees (help yourself!) are completely secluded and peaceful, a perfect setting for dining under the shady pergola.

The port of Soller with safe, sandy beach is 5 minutes drive away where ample parking can be found.

Palma airport is 30 minutes drive away.

Amenities are only a very short drive or 20 minute walk away.

Its about 20 minutes walk or a short drive to Soller or the Port where you will find food (including local produce) and retail shops, banks, restaurants and cafes. In Soller’s leafy square, have a meal or a drink whilst watching the passing local life or the tram which crosses the plaza on its trip between the Railway Station and the Port. Local activities: diving, swimming, tennis, walking, cycling, fishing, wind-surfing, water skiing, mountain biking. Golf courses are nearby. The whole casita is furnished and arranged with love and everything you need is there. We liked the Majorcan style with the nice flagging especially in the bathroom and the gorgeous "stone-walled" sleeping-room. We´ve had a real good time having breakfast in the sun on the terrace (always with your delicious oranges), walking a lot in the north-west and the Sóller-area and heaving dinner outside with this wonderful view to Sóller (always with delicious fresh lemon-water)! The weather was lovely and we were so happy to be able to have a fire in the cool evenings after enjoying the great walks in the area during the day. 10/11/10. We have had a wonderful 2 weeks in perfect Mallorca weather with temperatures 30ºC+ so thank God for the AC in the bedroom. Sa Vina is a bloody marvel. We felt at home from the first minute.
