This attractive villa is situated at the head of a small cove in the residential area of Cala Llonga and is built on the hillside to take full advantage of the beautiful views across Mahon harbour. The villa is tastefully furnished and has high quality terrace furniture including a large dining table and chairs to complement the Menorcan-style barbecue. We consider that we have furnished the villa to a very high standard to ensure that your stay will be a memorable one. The towels, linen & bed coverings have all been chosen with care, this is our home in Menorca and we hope that our guests will enjoy the house and the area as much as we do. The villa has the capacity to sleep 8 in four bedrooms with three bathrooms. The pool is private & regularly maintained as is the garden.

Prices are for the property per week based on 6 people in UK Pounds; for seven people add 5% to the total weekly cost and for eight people add 10% to the weekly cost. If your holiday falls into two periods, the costs will be calculated as if for two separate weeks at the prevailing rate. Payment can be accepted by credit card or PayPal. Payment in euros welcome.

Fridayor Saturday. Departure by 10:00, arrival after 14:00. Special arrangements can be made to leave luggage on arrival.

Towels, tea-towels and linen are included (except beach towels). These are changed weekly. Additional linen/towels on request. The property can be cleaned by arrangement with our agent during your stay. The pool is cleaned weekly.

Notes on accommodation
The villa has partial central heating; all rooms have fitted or free-standing fans. The villa is suitable for children, elderly or infirm may have difficulty with the steps leading to the front door of the villa.

Outside
There is a private garden surrounding the villa. In addition to a purpose built barbecue and dining area, there is a further covered dining area adjacent to the kitchen/dining room with teak dining table and directors chairs for 8. There is a patio area around the pool with eight sun loungers and chairs. The pool benefits from views over the harbour, and night lighting.

Coast/Beach
The nearest beach is Mesquida, an unspoiled sandy beach approximately 10 minutes drive away. There is a pretty fishing village Es Grau which has a sandy beach and safe shallow bathing about 15 minutes drive. There are also numerous boat-hire and sailing schools on the island.

Golf
There is a 18 hole golf course at Son Parc, approximately 20 minutes drive from the property.

Travel
The main airport is at Mahon, and is a 20 minute drive from the villa. Car hire is essential and available from the airport.

Distances
The capital of Menorca, Mahon is 10 minutes drive, although separated from Cala Llonga by the harbour.

Further details
Many harbourside restaurants in Mahon and Es Castell (across the harbour). The nearest supermarket/bank/post office is 10 minutes drive. The old town of Mahon contains many restaurants and shops of all descriptions many supplying high quality leather goods, shoes and fashion. There is a cinema, theatre and art galleries. Sports facilities of every description including all watersports, tennis, riding and a cricket club! There is also a trotting racetrack. Aero-club and boat charter facilities.

An initial (non-refundable) deposit of 20% is required on booking, the balance to be paid not less than eight weeks prior to departure.

About the owner
We have been visiting Menorca since the late sixties and in 2001 we decided to buy En Villes in Cala Llonga, one of our favourite spots. We enjoy the wonderful views over the Cala and the harbour of Mahon, the sight of a liner or a sailing ship passing the bottom of the road is a sight to behold that never palls. Our favourite restaurants are just a taxi-ride away and the meat, fish and vegetable markets in Mahon provide the very best of local produce. Our villa is furnished as a home and it is gratifying to receive consistent appreciative comments from families who holiday at En Villes.
