Changeover day
Normally the changeover day is Saturday, but depending on next booking may be negotiable.
The house is available from 4 pm and must be vacant for 10 am on Saturday of departure.

Linen for the week is supplied and for stays over 7 days. The house is cleaned before arrival. If you require a cleaning during your stay this can be arranged at an extra cost of around 9 €. an hour. The swimming pool is cleaned a week. |

Outside
There is a spacious terrace, with very beautiful views, around the pool. The swimming pool is 4.5 x 8m. and 1,80 x 2,10m deep. There is a porch and the furniture needed to dinner outside and sunloungers, outside lights and swimming pool lights.
Coast/Beach
The large sandy beaches of Alcudia and Port de Pollensa beach. 25 minutes.
The very popular Formentor beach. 40 minutes.
Through the mountains there is the Calobra and the Tuent, situated at the outlet of Torrente de Pareis. 50 minutes.
The village is in the centre of the island it is easy to reach any beach in the island including Palma beach, Santa Ponsa, Es Trenc etc.
Golf
There are two golf courses within 30km one near Pollensa, and another at Aucanada near Alcudia but you can reach any golf course in the island by easily car like the excellent ones situated in the south of the island, near Santa Ponsa, in Bendinat and Son Vida.
Travel
The Airport (Son san Joan) is about 35 minutes drive. All of the road from the airport to Selva is high way, except the last 4 km.

“Can Rafael” is an old typical Mallorcan town house, comfortable, spacious, and well equipped. Decorated in a typical Mallorcan country style some of the furniture is from the 19th century. There is central heating for the cooler months and air conditioning on the first floor for summer. Located in a peaceful little village of Selva, near the town square and the church. Away from the tourism trail the village is at the top of a hill and you can enjoy beautiful views over the plains of Mallorca from the terrace of the house or visit the typical Mallorcan restaurants and bars nearby.
The house is the ideal starting point for car excursions or long walks discovering the surroundings of Selva and the mountains. In the nearby town of Inca, there are excellent shopping facilities with a large weekly market in the town centre on Thursdays as well as some of the typical Mallorcan cellar restaurants.
From Inca, the capital, Palma, is easily reached by train, from where you can take the scenic rail way to Soller through the mountains. The road from Inca continues up into the mountains of the “Sierra de Tramuntana” mountain range, towards Torrent de Pareis and on to the villages of Soller, Deia and Valldemosa. The Alcudia and Port de Pollensa beaches are easily reached too.
For GPS users the steps of the church of Selva are N 39deg, 45,382 by E 2deg 54,090 Elevation 132m using the European 1950 datum.
