Notes on accommodation
The garden with side entrance through electrically operated iron gates with intercom in snug/study, make the house safe and secure for children. The stairway is wide with deep treads contained by magnificent carved wooden bannisters. There are interesting sight lines throughout, including a medieval type internal window and door looking down into living room from master bedroom and corridor. Perhaps the most lovely feature is the double height exposed stone wall to the wooden beamed ceiling.

Outside
A private swimming pool positioned near huge palm tree. The pool area and garden are surrounded by high stone walls for privacy. A large teak table under arched pergola seats 8-10 people. There is a barbeque and 7 comfortable loungers dotted around the lovely flower filled walled private garden. Lovely flat level orange orchard 450 sq meters for children to play infront of house with table under fig, lemon and mandarin trees and a swing.

Coast/Beach
The house is a 15 minute walk down an ancient donkey track through olive groves, to the sandy/rocky cove known as Cala Deia, where there are 2 restaurants at the waters edge, there are no coca-cola signs or any other signs. The amazing terrain between mountain and sea offers wonderful walking, including a path that follows the beautiful coastline or over the mountain all the way to Soller.

Travel
45 minutes from Palma airport. As the house is close to Deia village amenities, car hire is not absolutely essential. Cars are available at airport or taxi service can be arranged to bring renters peacefully to the house and car hire can be arranged in Soller on arrival.

Distances
Deia is situated in the spectacular mountain range of the north west coast. Since Robert Graves came to live here in the thirties the amazing beauty has attracted and inspired artists from all over the world.
