The hotel is situated in the centre of the small hamlet of Binibona, itself located in the foothills of the impressive Tramuntana Mountains, surrounded by extensive gardens beyond which land belonging to the hotel is farmed to provide much of the produce used in the hotel kitchen. Food and wine are important features of Mallorcan country life, and this is reflected in the interesting menus for dinners that can be taken in the inside the hotel or in the inner courtyard. The Finca Hotel Binibona has an attractive outdoor pool with beautiful views over the central plains and the Sierra de Tramuntana, a heated indoor pool, a fitness room and a tennis court. It is also possible to walk directly from the hotel onto the mountains using maps supplied by the hotel. The hotel also organises excursions to places of special interest, and once a week free mountain walks (with a local guide). On appointment the hotel arranges also riding and tennis coaching or massages and beauty treatments.

Notes on prices
Prices are in Euros per person per night on a bed & breakfast basis.
Prices do not include the local IVA (tax) of 7%.
All the rooms are very spacious and can accommodate additional beds or cots. The charge for an extra bed is 45 €; children under the age of 2 are free.
Changeover day
There is no standard changeover day and holidays can be of any duration. A table is set for dinner on the first night of a holiday (unless guests have specifically decided not to dine on that night); thereafter guests book a dinner table as required.
Notes on accommodation
All rooms are fitted with extremely comfortable furniture that complements the traditional Mallorcan architectural style of beamed ceilings and beautiful tiled floors. Every detail is designed to provide modern facilities in the antique settings. Breakfast and evening meals can be taken inside the hotel or in the inner courtyard.
Furthemore, guests are free to use the facilities of Finca Hotel Albellons, owned by the same family and situated on the ancient terraces further up the hill behind Binibona.
Outside
The The hotel has ample space in which guests can find seclusion and enjoy the surroundings; a large pool with plenty of poolside furniture, quiet terraces and a tennis court in one corner of the garden. The hotel also owns land beyond the garden where you will find sheep and goats, and beyond the farmed area are the mountains!
Coast/Beach
The nearest beaches involve a drive of approximately 30 minutes to the area around Port de Pollenca; there are large expanses of sandy beaches between Port de Pollenca and Alcudia, and smaller sandy beaches at Cala San Vicencte (between Pollenca and Port de Pollenca) where there are splendid views from the inlets towards the spectacular cliffs of the Formentor peninsula.
Golf
20 km to the golf course of Pollenca (9 holes) or 30 km to the golf course of Aucanada in Alcudia (18 holes).

The food at the hotel is a major reason why guests return year after year to Hotel Binibona and its partner hotel Albellons. The hotels are in a rural area where cooking traditions are very important.
The hotel also organises a range of outdoor activities like free hiking tours or excursions to help guests enjoy the local countryside, and beyond.

Travel
The Hotel Binibona Parc Natural is easily accessible from Palma airport; the journey starts along the main motorway to Inca, followed by a main road to Selva and then 3 km of narrow roads to the village of Binibona. Car hire is essential.
Distances
Palma airport to Binibona is a total of 24 miles; the driving time is approximately 60 minutes.
2,5km to Caimari and Selva. 10km to the monastery of Lluc. 20km to Pollenca and Alcudia.

My Family and I had a lovley time at Hotel Binibona. The hotel is just as beautiful as the pictures imply. We had a very relaxing time and would recommend the hotel to others seeking a quiet retreat away from it all. It is in a remote location but you can get to the coast in 30 mins. Our 7 month old boy was also made to feel welcome and loved the splashing about in the warm indoor pool. The complimentary bottle of wine was also delicious.
This well-appointed and beautifully decorated hotel is a fabulous retreat for families looking for a quiet, sophisticated environment in which to relax. Our son of 11 years enjoyed swimming, tennis and the frogs. We enjoyed the truly delicious food and wine! However, it helps to speak even just a little Catalan, Spanish or German - that is if you feel the need to talk at all!
