Villa Helene is a spacious villa situated, together with its own private swimming pool, barbecue and patio, within its own walled grounds in a quiet residential road at Binibeca. Binibeca is a quiet and most attractive resort, some 8 miles from Mahon and the airport. It extends from a picturesque fishing village to the west and as far as Cala Torret, an attractive hamlet to the east, and includes a marina as well as its own beautiful sheltered and sandy beach.

The Villa:

1 double bedroom and 2 twin bedrooms (1 of the twin bedrooms is large and sleeps 4, having adult-sized bunk beds as well as twin beds and a fully equipped en-suite shower room). Moveable full sized 9th bed, as well as a travel cot, high chair and camp bed suitable for a child if required. 2nd fully equipped bathroom (including a full sized bath and shower).
Fully fitted modern kitchen (2001) which includes a gas cooker, fridge/freezer, washing machine, dishwasher and microwave.
A spacious and comfortably furnished open-plan sitting room and dining area, central fan and moveable gas heater if required.

Notes on accommodation
The villa, together with a 'Welcome Pack' is prepared for your arrival. All linen is supplied (except beach towels) and is changed weekly. Sorry, no pets allowed.
Outside
The lounge opens out on to an extensive patio which surrounds the 9 x 4m swimming pool and barbecue. Pool house, patio furniture, terraces (part shaded), secluded roof terrace, outside shower.
Coast/Beach
The beach is a 7/8 minutes walk.
Golf
There ia a golf course about 30 minutes drive away at Son Parc.
Travel
Mahon airport is 8 miles. Although not essential, we recommend the hiring of a car in order to explore this lovely island with its many sights and remote beaches. Please ask for a price list with full details (there is nothing to pay until you take delivery, either at the airport or at the villa).
Further details
The Island of Menorca is quiet, unspoilt and the least commercialised of the Balearic Islands, yet it has every modern facility for a real 'get away from it all' family holiday. Measuring only 35 x 9 miles, it has numerous beaches, coves, bays and pretty harbours awaiting discovery around its rocky indented coastline. There are several excellent birdwatching regions and the undulating landscape also offers many delightful walks and tours to its prehistoric sites and places of historical interest.
The capital, Mahon, stands at the head of a magnificent harbour (a favourite mooring place for dozens of beautiful luxury yachts). The British, who ruled the island for 70 years, have left their mark with Georgian houses, tartan folk customs and gin!
Binibeca is one of the original and most attractive resorts on the island and, apart from its magnificent beach, there is also a small marina where a variety of water sports are available, including an excellent scuba-diving and windsurfing school. There are 2 tennis courts for hire at the bottom of the garden.
Within 8 minutes walk of the villa are several fine restaurants, bars, shops and 2 supermarkets. The area is well developed for self-catering holidays and many of the restaurants are ideal for children. One, very close by, is of excellent value and has regularly won the island's coveted award of 'Restaurant of the Year'. Details of restaurants, places of interest and various maps and information are available at the villa.
Booking notes
A 20% deposit is required at the time of booking and the balance is payable 2 months prior to your departure, when maps and an information pack will be sent to you. Insurance and flights from most UK airports can also be arranged.
