Beautiful house in NE Mallorca. Very near excellent golf courses. Set amidst magnificent scenery and walking country and many secluded beaches but only 1km from the lovely town of Arta with all its excellent facilities. Other interesting towns and vilages are all nearby.First class local amenities and restaurants are within minutes. Beautifully decorated and equipped private house with all modern conveniences. It is safe - having large electric gates at the top of the drive - and very comfortable and every care has been taken to ensure guests have a relaxing stay. We have a local person on hand throughout the rental periods to help with any questions or queries. The house is available for renting throughout the year and is perfect for a small party or can accommodate a party of 10 with absolute ease.

Flexible changeover days. We ask that our guests could leave the house by 11.am unless by prior arrangement.

Bedrooms: Bedrooms 1, 2 and 3 with double beds. Bedrooms 4 and 5 with twin beds. All the rooms have excellent storage facilities, large, effective fans, superb decorations and lovely views. Quiet, very comfortable, well lit, spacious and relaxing bedrooms.
Bathrooms: En-suite bathroom to master bedroom with separate bath and shower and bidet, plus plenty of storage. House bathroom with shower.Two further bathrooms with bath and shower. All are well lit and ventilated with opening windows and beautifully decorated.
Kitchen: Fully modernised kitchen with large double gas cooker with electric oven, large fridge-freezer, dishwasher, microwave, toaster etc. Excellent utensils, pots, pans, crockery and glassware and working space. Plenty of storage. A chef's kitchen.
Utility Room: Large utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer, large fridge-freezer, drying facilities, ironing board and iron etc and with a backdoor to the side terrace.
Living Rooms: Large drawing room with log fire and central heating and with very comfortable chairs and sofas. Separate dining area seating 10. Lovely big hallway. All expertly and beautifully decorated. Music centre. TV, video & DVD.
Other: Very large first floor balcony. All rooms beautifully light and airy and decorated to the highest standard.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
All linen and towels included (except swimming towels).
The linen is changed weekly and the house cleaned weekly. If more cleaning is required it woud be for an extra cost and by your arrangements with the housekeeper.

Outside
To the rear of the property there are the terraces for sunbathing and dining and all overlook the swimming pool.The Pergola extends all round the house and is completely shaded at the back. The lovely landscaped grounds surround the house and there are plenty of sunloungers, garden chairs and tables and beautiful Morrocan umbrellas for extra shade. The outside dining table seats 16 or more, is fully covered and beautifuly lit with the excellent BBQ. All the terrace is lit and is completely private. The swimming pool is approx 12m x 5m.and expertly cared for and checked a few times each week. There is an outside shower. The terrace has the benefit of sun all day long and with the attraction of the shaded areas.The garden surrounding the house is safe and excellent for children. The house is in a rural position and therefore very quiet and tranquil. A siesta in the hammocks is bliss. A carport at the front isfor 2 cars and all the driveway is lit at night for ease and safety.

Coast/Beach
Nearest beach 5 minutes away by car at Canyamel and there many other excellent beaches within ten minutes by car - and further afield - which offer restaurants, scuba diving, sailing, water skiing etc. Thoughout the year one can find secluded, unbusy beaches which are wonderful for picnics and swimming. Some of the beaches offer riding and most have a lifeguard on duty.

Golf
There are three excellent golf courses within ten minutes by car, one being just a few minutes from the house. The golf club houses are superb and all have fantastic dining facilities.
Superb tennis clubs are also very close by.

Special interest holidays
Beautiful walking area. We have access to expert local knowledge for superb walks throughout the year. Guided walks available. Areas of outstanding natural flora and fauna and preservations areas nearby.

Travel
1 hour from Palma airport. The ferry from Barcelona arrives to Palma as well. Car hire essential and we can help out with advice with a Car Hire Company.

Distances
1km from nearest town - Arta and 5km from the stunning small town of Capdepera. The main coastal town is CAla Ratjada where there is a large port. Surrounded by pretty villages and many places of interest including the extraordnary underground caves at Canyamel and Porto Cristo. It is and easy 50 minutes drive from Palma airport with Palma just only 15 minutes further. The train service from Manacor to Palma is excellent and runs throughout the year as does the equally efficient bus service.

Further details
Supermarkets in abundance, many excellent restaurants and tapas bars. Banks, doctors, dentists and a superb hospital in Manacor - 20 mins away, plus local medical facilities. Interesting shops are opening all over the area and the local markets - 5 per week - are excellent for food and crafts.
Fascinating places to visit including underground caves. There are coastal and inland walks all within easy reach. Scuba diving and windsurfing nearby and riding on some of the beaches. Local sailing schools, superb tennis facilities and excellent riding school make this an area which appeals to everyone and there are facilities which are open all year round. Apart from a few coastal resorts, all the towns function all year as well and it makes for a lovely winter break.

About the owner
Our Finca in Arta is a very much loved second home. We have worked wonders on it over the last 6 years and have had over 480 guests staying - in various sized groups! Everyone has excellent comments about the house, its decor, the facilities, location and general ambience of the grounds and local area and we have a lot of repeat bookings. In summer, the terraces, swimming pool and landscaped gardens are wonderful. In winter, the log fire, central heating, fabulous local restaurants and spectacular walks keep guests occupied. I'm always updating the interior and creating new areas of landscaping in the grounds. Its a fantastic home for a holiday or for a longer let. Arta is an interesting town and has plenty to offer all year round, particularly the Golf courses - which are superb.

The Arta region is completely unspoilt. The town itself is a thriving, up-beat, very attractive place with superb restaurants and facilities and it is a town which is active all year round. The surrounding area has wonderful beaches, superb golf courses, many other activities which appeal to all tastes, easy access to Palma and the rest of the island and wonderfully crowd-free. Our house is 1km outside Arta and totally secluded with breathtaking 360 degree views but near enough to the towns nearby for all our shopping, night life, leisure and safety needs. Its a lovely area with lovely people and has something to offer everyone.

Unique benefits of the property
The property is conveniently located near to the local towns and villages with all their markets, shops,leisure facilities, doctors, dentists, golf courses, sailing, tennis etc. It has completely secluded, private and enclosed grounds and is looked after by our superb housekeeper. It is our second home and as such, our guests always tell us they feel immediately comfortable - settling in takes no time at all. It is a lovely house which has care and attention lavished on it all the time.
