This cottage is a romantic getaway that has been tastefully restored and furnished. It is situated in a quiet part of the village yet close to the town square. It is unusual in that it has a garden and large terrace which offer stunning views to the olive and orange groves which tumble down the mountain to the valley below.

Changeover day
Preferably Saturday but can be flexible.
Departure 10am and arrival 4pm (flexible).

Notes on accommodation
There are 3 electric oil filled radiators, an electric wall heater in the bedroom and also in the bathroom as well as 1 open fire and a wood burning stove for the cooler winter months. No smoking please in the house.
Accessibility
Fornalutx is a mountain village with most of the houses built into the hill. My house is situated on 3 levels.
Outside
The large south facing terrace off the bedroom has a small wooden table and 2 chairs, a wooden steamer sun lounger and large parasol. There is an outside light and decorative wall fountain.
The south facing patio has a covered area with marble topped table, 4 chairs, large chest and electrical sockets for portable CD and ipod speakers provided. There is a 2nd wooden steamer chair, statuary, garden lights and plants (bourgainvillea, oleanders etc).
Coast/Beach
5km or 10 minutes drive to nearest beach at Port de Soller and 25 minutes drive to Deia.
Travel
30km or 35 minutes drive from Palma airport. Car hire is recommended as there is no public transport to Fornalutx.

5 restaurants, 3 local bars with tapas etc. Supermarket, bank, pharmacy and gift shops within 2 minutes walk. This is an ideal location for relaxing and painting in the warmer season or walking and cycling in the cooler months.
