A spacious villa, situated in a quiet hamlet down a country road passing the Talaiot de Trebaluger. It is within a 10 minute walk of the village of Trebaluger, with its well stocked supermarket run by Miguel who is famous for his home made sausages. It is a 15 minute drive from the airport and Mahon with its beautiful port full of yachts, restaurants and boutiques. Both St Lluis, built by the French in the late 1750s, and Es Castell, with its picturesque harbour are nearby. There are sandy beaches within a short drive at Binibeca, Punta Prima and Alcaufar. Tennis, sailing, scuba diving, windsurfing and cricket are all to be found within a few miles. Much of the island is now protected as a UNESCO 'Reserva de la Biosfera' which makes it a favourite for walkers, birdwatchers and wild flower enthusiasts, especially in the spring.

Weekly maid service when the villa is cleaned and towels and sheets are changed. A more frequent service is available - at extra cost. Please bring beach towels. |
Notes on accommodation
The villa has been renovated to a high standard. It has constant hot water, full oil central heating and has air conditioning upstairs and ceiling fans in the bedrooms downstairs. The pool is cleaned twice a week and the gardener comes once a week. Sorry no pets.

Outside
The swimming pool is 10 metres long with broad steps into the shallow end. The large garden is a feature of the property with mature palms and Mediterranean plants such as citrus, lavenders, hibiscus, rosemarys, oleanders, podranea and plumbago which host a plethora of wild life. The terraces provide both shade and sun and the large teak table and chairs on the barbecue terrace are under a canopy of bouganvillaea.

Further details
In addition to all the normal attractions you expect from a holiday island, Menorca has something special: such as dozens of lovely untouched beaches and a gorgeous countryside unaffected by the less attractive aspects of tourism. It also has the densest concentration of prehistoric monuments in Europe; an island to explore by car, foot or bicycle. Booking notes
A deposit of 25% of rental secures the booking. The balance, plus a security deposit of £200, is due 10 weeks before departure. A deposit will also be required if a telephone land line is to be made available. Cot, high chair and buggy can be arranged at time of booking. A food package can also be arranged.
