This 300 year old farmhouse has been tastefully converted to include 5 double bedrooms (all ensuite and some with extra beds) which can be booked in any combination to accommodate parties from 2 to 17 people in total. It is situated in the south-eastern corner of the island within 15 minutes of the Mahon airport and is within easy reach of several historical towns and hamlets. The beautiful coastline that makes Menorca justifiably memorable is only a few minutes drive away, or for the more athletic, a half hour stroll. Our houseguests will have few restrictions placed upon them, unlike in some other establishments, and will be able to come and go as they please throughout the day.

Notes on accommodation
These large bedrooms have ceiling fans for the summer and central heating for those rare cooler nights at each end of the season. Two rooms with air conditioning. All rooms suitable for children of all ages. Wheelchair friendly.
Outside
In the summer, you will willingly spend most of the day lounging around the crystal clear pool, or snoozing in the shade under the pergola. We call it siesta time! In the balmy evenings play a game of boule on our own piste or just enjoy a stroll around the grounds with the friendly dogs. Soft music to suit all tastes is available onto the terracing.
Coast/Beach
Menorca has more white sandy beaches than all the other Balearic islands put together, and we know them all. Even the remote and secluded ones. Some are only a few minutes away, others are a day´s adventure. You tell us the type of beach you want and we will point you in the right direction to ensure your complete satisfaction.
Golf
The only golf course on the island is at Son Parc (www.clubsonparc.com) and is a short 20 minute drive away. There are practice facilities available, including video recording of your swing and we can always find you a partner to play a round with should you so wish.
Special interest holidays
The island has many recreational activities from which to choose and we have a wealth of experience built up over many years to ensure that you will sail, horse ride, dive, snorkel, walk, bird watch, paint, mountain bike, etc. to your hearts contect, should you so wish. Or why not just lay back by the pool and be massaged and manicured by our visiting beautician.
Travel
Mahon airport is less than 15 minutes drive away. Car hire is recommended if you wish to see more of the island and can be arranged for collection and drop off at the airport, or on a daily basis to suit your needs and itinerary.
Distances
The nearest town is a short 15 minute walk away (or a 3 minute drive) where you will find plenty of excellent restaurants and bars. A bus service could take you from there to Mahon and then on to anywhere around the island. The guesthouse itself is set in wonderful countryside and has uninterrupted views over many miles.
Further details
Menorca (similar to Gibralter and Malta) has had a long lasting relationship with the British (and French) Naval fleets that once patrolled the Mediterranean and this end of the island has many museums, fortifications, parade grounds and notable houses associated with historical figures to explore. The arqueological treasures that abound on the island date back to 2000 BC and offer an interesting diversion from sun, sea, sand and sangria. From the middle of June to the end of September, each major town holds its fiests. The star being the Menorquin horse. Try to experience at least one of these spectacular events during your stay on the island.
Booking notes
The accommodation costs are for a double room and include a leisurely breakfast enjoyed on the terrace. Packed lunches can be supplied for those day trips. We expect you to take advantage of the many excellent restaurants in the area for your evening meals, but there is an honesty bar at your disposal in the lounge area.
