The apartment is part of a quaint apartment block built into the cliff and accessed from the public steps to the beach. Because of its location, the view from its terrace is superb. However, if steps are a problem this is not a suitable location.

Changeover day
Changeover day is flexible. Entry to the apartment and departure from it can be as early or as late as will adequately allow for the bookings of other guests and for servicing the apartment.

Bathrooms: Bathroom with shower, WC, bidet, hand basin and washing machine.
Kitchen: Kitchen with ceramic hob, extractor fan, oven, large fridge/freezer, dishwasher, toaster, kettle, stainless steel pots and pans, china and glassware, thermos flasks for picnics.
Utility Room: In kitchen recess, an iron, ironing board and tumble dryer.
Living Rooms: Lounge/dining room with sliding door to terrace, sofa, dining table and chairs, coffee table, TV (which receives BBC World news and CNN) and DVD plus a selection of movies.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
Bath towels, beach towels and linen are provided. They are changed once a week. The property is cleaned before you arrive and after you have left.

Accessibility
Because the apartment is accessed via numerous steps, it is not suitable for anyone with a mobility problem. Regrettably, because of the un-gated terrace, the apartment is not suitable for small children.

Outside
The terrace enjoys full sun from early morning to sunset.

Coast/Beach
The sandy beach is a flight of steps (one minute) away. Beside the beach are two bar/restaurants, a beach shop, and a free car park. Sun-loungers can be hired on the beach, as can kayaks and pedalos.

Travel
The airport at Mahon is about 15 mins distance by car or taxi. Taxis are available, both at the airport and in Cala'n Porter for travel to and from the airport. Regular buses from Cala'n Porter to Mahon leave from the bus stop immediately above the apartment, and bus tours of the island can be booked outside the main supermarket. Free car park at the beach below and on the road above.

Cala'n Porter village is accessed via the main steps to the beach and which are adjacent to the apartment.

Further details
Cala'n Porter has a variety of bars, restaurants, shops and supermarkets, a bank, a chemist and car hire. A pre-historic cave (Xuroy cave) situated in the cliffs offers drinks and a spectacular view of the Mediterranean.

E-mail or phone for booking. Full payment is requested at the time of booking by credit card or bank transfer, plus an additional, refundable, deposit of £150.00 per week against possible breakages. (Should the holiday be cancelled, the sum of £150.00 for one week, or £200 for two weeks is non-refundable.)
