San Jaime is an apartment and villa development overlooking Son Bou bay and beach. At the top of the hill is Alto Mar, the premier site because of its panoramic view across the sea towards Majorca, often visible on a clear day. It is here that the apartment (K9 Alto Mar) is situated in beautifully laid out gardens with adult and children's pools for the exclusive use of residents. The resort complex (10 mins walk) has over 40 shops and restaurants available to enjoy.

Notes on prices
Prices are for the property per week in UK Pounds. If the Last Saturday of the month is between the 28th - 31st and this is your depart date - the price will be charged at the next months rate.

Changeover day
Fridays. However more flexible early and late season (please check with me).

Bedroom two - Master bedroom views to the Mediterranean, King sized bed and fitted wardrobes.
Bathrooms: Brand new, fully tiled, modern fresh and clean bathroom with double luxury shower, vanity unit and good ventilation (double window).
Kitchen: New kitchen with all new appliances such as washing machine, dishwater, microwave, fridge/freezer, touch electric hob and fan assisted double oven.
Utility Room: Iron, iron board, fan heater for the cooler months, and 2 x Fans for the Summer months, washing line, vacuum cleaner, and variety of children’s beach toys.
Living Rooms: Open plan lounge with dining areas (up to 6 person) and 4 person sofa, TV, Sky free-to-view, and DVD collection.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
Linen, appartment towels and tea towels all provided. Please bring your own beach/swimming towels.

 

Notes on accommodation
The apartment is child friendly and at the end of the row of nine apartments therefore there is plenty of landscaped garden space to enjoy around the apartment. The majority of guests revisit the apartment’s area year after year resulting in a friendly atmosphere around the pool.
Last winter 2004 the apartment was rewired, re-plumbed, re-floored and a new kitchen installed therefore everything is fresh and new.

Outside
The Balcony runs the whole length of the apartment and has sun lounges, 6 person dining area, sun canopy covering the whole area if required and a built in barbeque.
Communal pool area - Pool is 15 meters by 8 meters.

Coast/Beach
Son Bou the longest beach on the island. The beach stretches for 4 km of pale golden sand lapped by clear turquoise waters. Several beach bars serve it and therefore opportunities for water sports. For the keen explorer, with well over a hundred beaches on the island, ranging from tiny coves to large stretches of sand, there are beaches to suit almost everyone on Menorca.

Golf
The keen golfer isn’t overlooked either with the 15-hole course (slowly being extended to 18) situated in the beautiful countryside 20 mins drive away. Horse riding, pony trekking and donkey safaris are also available at various establishments throughout the island.

Travel
The resort is approximately 20 mins from Mahon Airport, allowing you to be on holiday an hour after touch down. In fact since the island measures less that 50km long and 20km across you never have to travel far to get anywhere. There is a regular bus service throughout the island and driving is very easy. I would strongly recommend hiring a car and I can provide hire company details.

Distances
The nearest Menorcan Villages to Son Bou are Alaior and Mercadal, which are both 10 mins drive away and host some of the nicest restaurants on the island.

Booking notes
A non refundable booking fee is required to secure your week(s). The balance payable 7 weeks before the holiday. If the holiday is booked less than 8 weeks from its commencement, the full charge is payable. All clients are required to take out cancellation insurance. If you fail to insure or if your claim does not qualify the following applies – a) if we are unable to re-let, the moneys paid already shall be forfeit. B) If we re-let we shall refund all moneys less handling charge £50 per week.
