Notes on accommodation
2 hairdryers for guests use, cot can be hired from villa managers at 20 Euros per week, high chair also at 20 Euros per week.
Accessibility
The narrow roads and high kerbstones of Cala En Porter can cause problems for wheelchair users but the lifeguards at the beech have a special wheelchair for disabled bathing.
Outside
Private pool and large patio area, gardens to 4 sides. 5 mature Palm trees provide good shade.
Coast/Beach
10 minutes walk to sandy beach with life guards. Large free car park and slipway with restaurants and beech bars.
Sun loungers and pedalos can be hired on the beech.
Golf
Golf at Son Parc only 17 km.
Travel
Mahon airport is 13km.

I live in England with my husband Michael and youngest daughter Olivia We spend all of our holidays in Menorca where we have developed close relations with local ex-patriots and islanders alike. Why the owner chose a home in this location
We have been on holiday to Europe on many occasions always returning to Menorca and eventually purchasing our first "villa" in Cala En Porter. The village is very pleasant, not too noisy and has a good sandy beach. With only just over a 2 hour flight from UK, a good pollution free atmosphere and climate made it our choice for our second home. Five years later we purchased another villa [Casa Marion 10 Calle Tramontana] Just up the road from our first villa. The villa interior is modern and has a roof terrace with sea view. Casa Marion has an ample driveway should you choose to hire a car. Street parking only at the larger villa as the boat occupies the drive.
Unique benefits of the property
Whilst our large villa that sleeps 8 is right in the heart of the village, yet it is still quiet, on the road out of the village. The smaller villa Casa Marion that sleeps 6 is on the outskirts of the village but still on the same road as the larger villa and is very quiet. At either villa you can close the gates and enjoy your privacy as they are both detached, walled and without shared facilities.
