This is a 2 bedroom apartment, both bedrooms have air-conditioning, it has a large balcony with a built in BBQ which overlooks the sea and the port of Addaia. It has a private swimming pool (guests, clients, owners only) set in beautiful and well maintained gardens. It has nearby restaurants, small supermarket, tennis courts, the port is a short walk away and there is a small bar/restaurant there. The nearest beaches are at Na Macaret and Arenal d'en Castell which are a 5 minute drive away. Son Parc is 5 miles away and there is a golf course there. There is a diving centre in Addai where you can learn scub-diving and hire the equipment. A local boat can be chartered for the day including BBQ, swimming, visit local beaches by sea. The apartment has a dining/living room, 2 bedrooms, 1 double the other with bunk beds and a single bed, both have air-con and the double has a dressing table and mirror. Fully fitted kitchen, washing machine, wc/shower room, large patio with furniture and BBQ.

Changeover day
Can be flexible depending on incoming/outgoing flights, but normally I require the apartment to be vacated by 10-00am (flexible) on departure day. I can also arrange for food parcels to be at the apartment for incoming late flights (price on asking).

Bedrooms: Bedroom 1: double bed, fitted wardrobes, bedside tables, fans, dressing table, mirror, air conditioning and a built in safe.
Bedroom 2: bunk beds and a single bed, fan, fitted wardrobe, air conditioning (there is also a bed-settee in the lounge).
Bathrooms: Bathroom has a shower, wc, hand basin, mirror and shaver power points. Bath/hand towels are provided.
Kitchen: Fully furnished Kitchen with cooker, hob, fridge, freezer, microwave, toaster, sandwich toaster, kettles, pans, plates, cups, glasses, utensils.
Utility Room: Utility room with washing machine, ironing board, hairdryer and iron.
Living Rooms: Lounge/dining room, sofa bed (double), Free-sat TV (BBC and ITV), DVD player, table and 6 chairs, CD/radio/cassette player, coffee table, lots of books and games plus DVDs. Sliding glazed doors lead on to the patio.
Other: Large private patio which faces the sun from sunrise to mid afternoon, built in BBQ, table and 6 chairs, coffee table, clothes dryer, reclining loungers, parasols. Lots of buckets and spades for the kids!
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
All towels (except beach towels) and bed linen are included. If you are staying for 2 or more weeks I will arrange for the maid service to come in mid-way to change all the bedding and towels (included in price).

Notes on accommodation
The accommodation is ideal for a family, the area is fairly quiet and there are no nightclubs nearby (if you want discos this is not the place to be!). The apartment has air-conditioning/heating in both bedrooms as well as fans. It is fully self contained and close to a small supermarket (which has a bakery). 2 bedrooms, main bedroom has a double bed, fitted wardrobes, bedside tables, dressing table and mirror, a built in safe, the other with bunk beds and a single bed. There is a bed settee in the lounge. Cots & high chairs etc for young children can be provided and delivered to the apartment prior to your arrival. Large private patio with table and chairs, clothes dryer, reclining chairs, parasols. There are rubbish wheelie bins 100 yards away that are emptied at least twice per day. Own car parking space for the apartment a few metres away. Wi-Fi available at a local bar / restaurant (El Castillo) usually some entertainment, 20 metre walk from the front door to the pool/gardens.

Accessibility
The apartment is at ground level, no more than 4 steps up from the garden to the apartment level, no steps inside the apartment or to patio, balcony. Private parking for clients/guests is within 5 metres of the apartment. Internet access at local restaurant (El Castillo).

Outside
There is a beautiful and well maintained private garden and swimming pool (for guests / clients and residents only) with a shallow end for small children and 2m at the deep end. There are reclining chairs for use by the pool are that are kept in a cupboard by the pool which is approx 20m from the apartments and left there for the duration of your stay.

Coast/Beach
The nearest beaches are Na-Macaret (free parking) which is a small beach (good fishing) and there are 3 bar/restaurants within 100 yards, and Arenal (large horseshoe shape), shallow, pedalos and canoes can be hired, many bar/restaurants within a few hundred yards, (free parking) both beaches are a five minute drive, within 15 minutes you can access 4 more beaches. The port of Addaia is a 5 minute stroll with a welcoming bar/tapas. Buses can be caught from Addai to Mahon/Fornells.

Golf
There is a 18 hole Golf course at Son Parc which is @ 5 miles away. Clubs and equipment can be hired from the professional, there is also a driving range.

Travel
The apartment is a 20 minute drive from the airport (Mahon). There are taxis available from the airport, I recommend hiring a car to explore the wonderful sights on the Island as well as the Port of Mahon which has dozens of restaurants, open markets, a shopping centre, large port and where you can charter boats to sail around the Island. At the Port d'Addaia is a diving centre where organised trips can be arranged. There is a "Choo-choo" which runs from Arenal to Na-Macaret and back.

Distances
Mahon is aprox 13 miles, Arenal and Macaret Beach's 2-3 miles, Son Parc 5 miles, you can probably travel from one side of the Island to the other in 1.5 hours. For the energetic there are many wonderful coastline and inland walks.
If you want to sit on the "choo-choo" it runs hourly from Arenal to Na-Macaret and back (cost a few euros).

Further details
There are restaurants, supermarket/bakery, bars, tennis courts, gift shop/newspapers/within a few hundred yards, the restaurants have access to English/Sky TV. Restuarant Es Castillo has free internet access & wifi. A golf course is at 5 miles away at Son Parc. Bikes and scooters can be hired from Arenal.There are cash-point machines/banks in the major towns as well as at the airport exit lounge. Perfect place to relax and unwind, be as lazy or as active as you wish, lots of beaches within 15 minutes, windsurfing in the lagoons at Fornells (you can hire and have lessons there), The apartments are managed by an English company on the island who have a 24 call out service should any problems arise.
NB; IT IS ADVISABLE FOR YOU TO TAKE OUT TRAVEL INSURANCE IN CASE YOU HAVE TO CANCEL THE BOOKING FOR ANY REASON AS THE DEPOSIT AND FINAL PAYMENT (ONCE PAID) CANNOT BE REFUNDED. I HAD A CLIENT LAST YEAR THAT HAD TO GET OFF THE PLANE IN ENGLAND DUE TO HIS WIFE HAVING A PANIC ATTACK, I WAS WILLING AND DID PROVIDE A LETTER TO HIS INSURANCE COMANY AND HE WAS FULLY REIMBURSED BY THEM.

Booking notes
Please contact by e-mail or phone in the first instance, 20% deposit (£sterling)is payable on booking (non refundable), the balance 4 weeks prior to you arriving (non refundable). If you have young children I can arrange for pushchairs, high chairs, cots etc to be at the apartment when you arrive. If you are on late flights I can also arrange for a food parcel to be in the apartment. Keys are in a small wall-safe by the front door, I will give you the combination one week before you arrive.

We returned last night from Menorca and just wanted to say thanks for letting us use your apartment in Addaia. We had a fabulous fortnight, the apartment is in a great location and had everything we needed. The mid-point clean and change of sheets/towels was much appreciated and the air conditioning was a real bonus as it was 34 and even 36 one day!

I live in England and have owned the property for 8 years, I love the area as it is fairly quiet and close to restaurants, tapas bars, a marina and 5 minutes drive to a fantastic beach. The gardens and pool are private and can only be used by owners and guests in the apartments, children are welcome as my children love it and I feel very safe if they pop over to the local shop or be by the pool themselves. Transfer from the airport is 20 minutes by car or taxi, buses can be caught from Addaia to Mahon. It is ideal to base yourselves if you want to tour the Island or just chill out by the pool.
