Local 18 hole golf course 30 kilometres away at Son Parc.

Travel
15 minutes to Mahon airport. Car recommended.

10 minutes drive to San Climente with large supermarket and all amenities.

Further details
Nowhere in Menorca is far from the villa by car. Fornells on the north coast is 40 minutes away and is great for water sports and boat hire. It also has good seafood restaurants.
Mahon is a lively town with twice weekly markets. The port area has many eating places to suit all tastes and budgets and is a lovely place to stroll in the evening.
There is a nature reserve at Es Grau 30 minutes, and no trip is complete without a visit to Monte Toro the highest place in the centre of the island.

A quiet evening in San Climente

About the owner
We are a professional couple with 2 teenage children living in Norfolk. We visited Menorca for many years when our children were young. The benefits of a quieter island,accessible sandy beaches and friendly locals appealed to us. We took the plunge and bought our villa in 2001,the view of the sunset over Majorca from the terrace sealed the deal! Our many holidays in Menorca have allowed us to experience the different seasons and appreciate the varying activities on offer. The direct flights from Norwich Airport make the island easily accessible from this part of the world.

We chose Es Canutells because of its peaceful location and easy access to local beaches and amenities.

Unique benefits of the property
Very convenient for airport transfer and visiting the capital Mahon. Close to Cala en Porter with its vibrant nightlife and numerous cafes and bars. The local harbour has recently undergone a 1 million euro upgrade which has improved the whole area. The villa is completely enclosed so it is safe for children.
