This apartment comprises of 2 double bedrooms, bathroom with bath, bidet, wc and shower spray, fully fitted kitchen with all crockery, pans and utensils, lounge/dining room and two terraces, one overlooking the beautiful child friendly pool and gardens. Outside of the grounds you will find a basketball court, football pitch, tennis courts, fun house, go-carting, skateboarding course, water slides and much more. Cala en Porter has a beautiful sandy, gently sloping beach which is just a 10 minute walk away from the apartment accessed down steps, walkway or you can catch the mini train around the corner from the apartments or in the town centre. An ideal beach for children where they can search for crabs and fish that are easily visible in the shallows and around the rock pools at either side of the bay. Sun loungers and parasols can be hired along with pedalos and slide boats.

Changeover day
We try to be flexible by offering changeover days to suit your travel needs, this ensures you can find the cheapest flights that will give you the best possible deal. Guests normally leave by 10am and arrive after 2pm or by prior arrangement.

| Kitchen: | The kitchen has everything you need for a self catering holiday. Full cooker inc oven and grill, fridge/freezer compartment, microwave, electric kettle, toaster, all crockery, utensils and pans. An electric iron and ironing board is also supplied. |
| Living Rooms: | Living/dining room with a double and a single sofa bed, coffee table, radio/tape/CD player, dining room table and chairs. Selection of books provided. |
| Other: | There are double doors leading from the lounge to the large front patio which has table and chairs and ample space for outside dining. Each bedroom has it's own access to the rear patio where you can sit and overlook the beautiful pool. |

All required linen including bath, hand and tea towels are provided fresh for each arrival and on multi week lets a change is made at 7 day intervals. Please bring your own towels for use at the pool and on the beach. |

Notes on accommodation
The apartments are set in beautiful gardens and there is a fully equipped children's play area. There is natural shade from trees around the pool area. Well suited to families with children due to the large swimming pool with a separate children's pool area.
Accessibility
The apartment is on the first floor and not suitable for wheelchair users.
Outside
The apartment has two balconies one to the rear of the property with a table and 2 chairs whilst the front balcony is larger and is ideal for outdoor eating. The communal pool is directly behind the apartment overlooked by the rear balcony. There is a children's play area adjacent to the pool which is ideal for the little ones. The gardens and pool area on the complex are very well kept and to very high standards.
Coast/Beach
Cala en Porter has a beautiful safe, sandy, gently sloping beach which is just a 10 minute walk away from the apartment accessed down steps, or you can catch the mini train around the corner from the apartments or in the town centre. An ideal beach for children where they can search for crabs and fish that are easily visible in the shallows and around the rock pools at either side of the bay. Sun loungers and parasols can be hired along with pedalos and slide boats. A lifeguard is present.
Golf
There is an 18 hole golf course at Son Parc which is about 25 mins drive from the apartment.
Travel
Mahon airport is 10 minutes drive or taxi ride away. Car hire is not necessary as there is a good bus service from Cala en Porter. If car hire is required this can be arranged with a pick up at the airport or locally. A car is not essential, but if you want to see the rest of this beautiful island we would recommend it, or take a coach trip from the local supermarket.
Distances
The main town center of Calan Porter where the bars and restaurants can be found are a 5 minute walk from the apartment.
Mahon, the island's capital is 7 miles away, Alaior 6 miles, San Clement 4 miles. From Mahon bus station there are bus services to all parts of the island.
Further details
The town centre of Cala en Porter is a few minutes walk from the apartments. In the centre there are supermarkets, bars, restaurants, chemist, bank and a variety of other shops and evening entertainment. Free delivery of your shopping can be arranged at certain supermarkets.
The beach is very safe for children with a life guard present and a first aid office if needed. There are bars and restaurants down there along with a beach shop which sells lilos, buckets and spades etc.
There is a 'Jazz night' which is every Tuesday starting at 9.30pm held in The Casino at San Clemente, a ten minute drive away. It is very well supported and does have guest artists.
For late night entertainment, the disco at the Caves of Xoroi usually continues until dawn with a foam night every Thursday.

We require a 20% deposit to reserve your holiday. The balance is payable 8 weeks prior to the commencement of your holiday.

We are retired and have owned property in Cala en Porter for over twenty years, we live here throughout the holiday season and we are available to our guests at all times if required.

The apartment is located on a complex which is enclosed, ensuring safety for every visitor but especially for families with small children. The grounds are large, so it is never over crowded in the gardens or around the pool terrace. All amenities and the beach are within a 10 minute walk including bank, post office, chemist, doctors, hairdressers, bars, restaurants, supermarkets and gift shops.
