Changeover day
Change over day is Saturday but can be flexible outside the main school holidays. Departure time 10am and arrival after 2pm.

Notes on accommodation
Smoking is not allowed inside the apartment, only on the balcony.
Due to the patio doors opening straight onto the balcony, we would not recommend our apartment to families with small chlidren.

Accessibility
The apartment is situated on the 2nd floor and has access via both lift and stairs. There is also a ramp available to access the swimming pool area.

Outside
The apartment has a garden area, shared swimming pool, with children's section, which is only used by owners and guests.

Coast/Beach
Famous for the beautiful sandy coves with crystal clear turqoise waters. The choice of 3 superb beaches within a few minutes walk, the nearest being Cala Domingos, which is a 2min walk & rated as 4 star beach. Well maintained, lifeguards and medical provision, beach bars. Walkway leading off beach which takes you along the beautiful coastline towards Porto Cristo. Spectacular views from walkway. Easy access to all coves.

Golf
10 minutes drive to Val D'Or 18 hole Golf course.

Travel
45 mins drive from Palma airport. A car is not essential in this area but if one is required car hire can be arranged for collection and drop off at airport at very competitive prices.

Distances
10 mins drive to the famous Caves of Drach in Porto Cristo. 5 minutes drive to the hidden beach of Cala Varques, 30 mins drive to Cala Figuera a narrow fjord like inlet with fishermen's cottages, very picturesque. 30 mins drive to National park Mondrago-conservation area. 2 white sandy beaches and nature trails. 15 minutes drive to the regional capital Manacor. 20 minute drive to beaches of Es trenc and Sant Jordi.

2 mins walk to supermarkets, chemist, banks, restaurants, swing park, pubs, souvenir shops, medical center, amusement arcades, amusements for kids during summer season. Banks and cash points widely available. Excursions can be arranged and booked via the local property management company we use, to enable you to see as much of Mallorca as possible. They can also arrange trips to water-parks, markets, glass bottom boat trips, shopping trips, sightseeing trips, cultural trips, horse riding trips, quad biking trips, speed boat trips, snorkelling, scuba diving, dinner shows (evening). Car hire and picking up and dropping off at airport can also be arranged.

About the owner
Phil & I live in England we have 2 teenage children, we all work, but spend most of our holidays in Mallorca. We have all fallen in love with the Island. We prefer to be close to all the amenities but still enjoy quiet and private accommodation. We also love the fact that you can be in a cosmopolitan city like Palma in an hour but also on a completely secluded beach within ten minutes.

Why the owner chose an apartment in this location
For families, couples and single groups Calas de Mallorca offer everything. Beautiful country side, stunning views, secluded coves, white sandy beaches and within close proximity of the delightful towns of Porta Cristo and Porto Colom with their lovely marina's and great range of bars and restaurants. There really is something for everyone here. The area is easily accessible with Palma airport less than an hour’s drive away and a railway station in the provincial capital of Manacor, which is 15 minutes away.
