In the past, the building was the Convent and then later the School of the village. Now fully restored and modernised into a charming little boutique hotel of individual character, the Petit Hotel boasts charming rooms equipped with en-suite bathroom, Satellite TV, stereo system, a safe and a direct-dial telephone with its own number so you can make and receive calls directly in the room. There is also Wi-Fi Internet connection. The old chapel is now the main suite of the hotel with its own private terrace and truly fabulous views over the mountains and the valley. It’s heavenly! In addition, the hotel has a meeting room for hosting small events or gatherings, a library/reading room, a dining room and a large outdoor sun terrace where, in Spring and Summer, you can enjoy a delicious breakfast buffet while savouring the beautiful views across the valley of the orange trees to the mountains.

Accessibility
The hotel is situated down a narrow, cobbled street - i.e. there is no on-street parking. There are 3 large village car parks within 2 minutes' walk. The house has not been adapted for wheelchairs. For those with walking difficulties, there is a room at the bottom of the house with only 1 steps to access it and one stair to access the terrace.
Outside
There is a spectacular terrace with tables, chairs, a couple of sun loungers, the pool and one of the best mountain views in Spain. The garden is grass with orange trees and the jacuzzi. There are sun loungers and pool towels available.
Golf
Some of Spain's best golf courses are within an easy drive (nothing is far in Mallorca!). The nearest and one of the best - Son Termans, is just 20 minutes drive away.

Travel
From Palma Airport take the motorway towards Palma/Andratx and leave at the exit "Via de Cintura". Then leave this road at the "Sóller" exit and continue on the C711 road past Bunyola and through the tunnel to Sóller. Once you have reached Sóller we recommend that you continue on the main road towards "Puerto de Sóller. After about one kilometre turn right at the roundabout towards Lluch/Pollensa. After about 4 kilometres you will see a sign on the right indicating the way to Fornalutx.

My wife and I are Belgian and we are living in Mallorca since twenty years.
We belong the hotel ten years and we intend to offer a familiar attention so that the visitor feels home.

The Petit Hotel is a former monastery, lovingly and tastefully restored by André and Bethsy, your hosts at this amazing little retreat, tucked away in a beautiful little medieval village in the mountains in the northwest part of Mallorca. The rooms are beautifully done: the attention to detail and artwork are impressive.Yet it doesn't feel like a museum; rather, it offers a creature comfort level that encourages an immediate feeling of relaxation and well-being, which is encouraged and aided by the infinity pool and the beautiful garden. I now know that Cava tastes best when enjoyed chilled while sitting in in a jacuzzi in the middle of anrange grove with a view of the mountains.
And the breakfasts! Fresh produce, croissants and bread,coffee,hand-squeezed juice, all of wonderful quality.
