The villa has been fully refitted and decorated. It offers comfortable accommodation for 6 in two twin bedrooms and one double with en suite. The lounge diner has sliding glass doors leading onto terraces surrounding the pool with pagola, where you can relax out of the sun. The rooftop sun terrace gives views over surrounding farmland. Alongside the villa is its own driveway with gates for your car.

Changeover day
Changeover day is negotiable. Arrival and departure times are better for mornings, however, if this is not possible guests can use the terraces and pool after 9am on the last day.

Bedrooms: Two bedrooms have twin beds and built in wardrobes with drawers one has double with en suite. Fans are provided in all rooms. Safety deposit box provided.
Bathrooms: Luxury en-suite bathroom with bath/shower, w/c, twin his/hers washbasins to bedroom 1. Second bathroom has shower, a small bath, hand basin and w/c.
Kitchen: Four ring gas cooker with grill and oven, Microwave oven, toaster and twin sinks.
Utility Room: Utility room alongside the lounge has sink with drainer, washing machine and chest freezer.
Living Rooms: Sky TV with DVD player. Large sliding glass door onto patio and pool area.
Cleaning/towels/
linen/maid service:
All linen and towels (villa use only) are provided and are changed on a weekly basis. Villa cleaning and towel/linen change is on Fridays.Please note that linen and towel change only applies to bookings of 2 full weeks or more.

Notes on accommodation
We have a small folding pushchair for guests use whilst staying at the villa. A cot can be rented from villa managers for 20 Euros per week, high chair also available at 20 Euros per week.

Outside
The private pool has steps into it (max depth 1.7 metres), terraces to the front of the villa with pagola. The gardens contain a large palm tree, lemon trees and various bushes and shrubs.

Coast/Beach
5 minute drive to the sandy beech and large free car park, life guards are on duty during the holiday season. Sun loungers and pedalos can also be hired on the beech. Fresh water showerpoints are provided free allongside the slipway access road.

Golf
Golf course at Son Parc approximately 15 Km on north coast.

Travel
Hire car is recomended but not essential. Airport (Mahon) is only 13Km away, Taxi fare was only 18 Euros last year. We find the easiest way is to arrange hire car at time of booking, the hire company will meet you at the airport lounge with the hire car outside on the car park. Sign the hire form give them the payment,leave the car park turn left at the roundabout onto the ME12, at the end of this road is Cala En Porter.

Further details
As the island is only 30Km long and 18Km wide, with the benefit of a rental car you should be able to cover the island within a week. The village has three Spar supermarkets with instore bakery and butcher, which should cater for most. Larger supermarkets are only a short distance away (large Spar @ San Climente just 5Km away). Mahon with its large harbour and seafront restaurants is only 15Km from the villa.

I live in Halifax with my son Joshua and daughter Georgia. We have owned Casa Marion since 1996 and have used the villa for all our holidays since.

Why the owner chose a home in this location
Property prices were escalating so we purchased this our second villa before prices went beyond our reach. The villa is in a quiet location but only a short stroll from the village centre and beech.
